Loki's Midgardian

The Accident

You headed outside early in the morning for the 5th time that week. Tony had made you a little hut/small shed that you could change in. You walked over to it and closed the door behind you. You could still see what was happening outside around you, but no one could see the inside.

You undressed throwing your shoes, undergarments, pants, and shirt into the corner of the room. You easily transformed into the great wolf and walked over to the door.

Tony installed a button that you could press with your snout so you weren't locked in the room. You decided that you wanted to explored the forest deeper today. The past few times you only went as far as the small clearing you visited every morning.

As you went deeper into the forest your ears shot up when you heard a branch snap that sounded very far but close.

You turned your head, and in the far distance you saw two men with hunting rifles.

Your eyes widened in shock, you knew there was a hunting ground that was part of the forest, but that was miles away. Wasn't it? You lowered your body slowly to the ground as your ears picked up their conversation.

"Dude I swear it was fucking huge!" The first guy said.

"I know but we aren't allowed to be hunting in this area. The Avengers compound is right up there." The second guy said.

"Bro relax alright, besides this will be a trophy when we kill it."

You got worried and had a very strong feeling that they were talking about you. You closed your eyes and turned into a lioness.

No one on the team knew you could turn into different kinds of animals, not even Loki knew. Somethings you didn't want to tell them. You were afraid they would be disappointed or angry with you.

Somehow the men seemed to have spotted you.

The first guy nudged the other guy's arm and said, "What about that huh?"

"That is definitely worth a lot." The man replied.

You started to run but a sudden pain rippled through your leg and you dropped slightly. You couldn't run. You tried so desperately to fight it but your animal nature was taking over.

Since a wolf is your main animal, you can still control your actions and thoughts. But, when you formed into any other animal you had a hard time trying to keep control.

You were losing against the lion within you as the men came closer. You couldn't control yourself anymore and pounced at them with your teeth bared growling.

Loki was in your room reading a book waiting for you to come back from your run. As he turned the page of his book he heard a faint gunshot.

"Y/n?" Loki said out loud as he teleported himself outside in the middle of the field.

"Y/N!" Loki shouted with panic. Loki was loud enough to bring the team outside to see what the mater was.

"Loki? What's wrong?" Tony asked as he saw the panic written on the gods face.

"I heard a gunshot." He replied as his voice shook slightly.

"Where's y/n is she alright?" Clint and Tony said at the same time.

"I don't know." Loki said sounding scared.

Steve was about to say something when he saw a lioness stumble out of the trees.

"Um guys, there's a damn lion!" Steve shouted.

Everyone looked at the lion and saw that it was covered in blood. The animal had blood stains all over the fur. The snout had blood dripping off it that landed onto the no longer green grass.
