Blossom's POV
RECAP
I went back to the penthouse, got ready for bed, hugging my parents picture when I heard the doorbell.....
Present time
I went and opened the door, and the sight in front of me made my eyes widen. "You"I hissed at Ian. Ian is like my best friend. We met when I started my own law firm. I was mad at him because he left without telling me, and was not here for me when I needed him the most.
"Oh come on Cupcake, you know you can't stay mad at me forever"he said with a grin.
"I'm sorry"he said as he looked at me sincerely.
I smiled and hugged him. We then went inside and I made coffee.
"What did the detectives say" he asked concerned.
"Just some..."I was about to tell him the truth but then I remembered Duncan's words.
"Just something about postmortem still has to be done" I said easily.
He narrowed his eyes at me like he knew I was lying but then shook it off.
We continued talking until I heard a scream outside.
I was going to open it but Ian held my hand.
"It must just be some teens" he said with a laugh.
I smiled and sat back down.
After a little while, Sebastian and Chloe showed up.
"Hey guys I didn't know you'll were coming together" I said.
"We weren't, we met on the way up" Sebastian said as Chloe hugged me.
"I'm so sorry B" Chloe said.
Afterwards Sebastian hugged me. I began to cry as I hugged him. Then i felt my shoulder wet as well.
"Bastion, don't cry" I said.
"If you crying, how can I not, I'm your brother aren't I" Sebastian said.
Bastion knew my parents. Chloe did too but Bastion was closer.
"You have a meeting tomorrow" Bastion said.
"Do I have to go" I asked as I sighed.
"You have to get this deal, the companies are going downhill, you know your dad wouldn't like that" he said with a sad smile.
"Okay but can you come with me" I said and he nodded.
"I've got to go" Ian said with a noticeable scowl.
"What's up with him" Chloe asked.
"Must be on his period" Sebastian said.
Chloe and I burst out laughing.
Bastion and Chloe ended up sleeping over in the guest rooms.
I was so happy, this was the one night I actually slept without my pillow being flooded with tears, but with a smile on my face.
