"9 Years Later"

"Pa!" I heard the voice of a child coming from the backstage,

I chuckled as I knew who's voice it was, I was doing my interview but this little cutie can't help but bug me and the stage managers also can't contain him in the backstage because he uses his charms on them

"Junghwan, I can take you here but you have to behave, okay?" I said while I made him sit on my lap

(I know, I'm sorry I had to make Junghwan a four-year-old toddler for the story)

"But, Pa, I'm hungry, their donuts don't really taste good here" He shyly whispered

All the staffs said "aWw" while they melt with Junghwan's cuteness,

"don't worry sweetie we'll be packing up now" The director said, making him smile a little

The staff lured him with a ball, while the interviewer ask me a few more questions and then after that, I went to the locker room to change.

As I got out of the changing room, Junghwan now lost his smile which only means he's really hungry now.

"Come on now, Junghwan, we're going to see mom" I said but he didn't respond, sheesh, he might be truly drained out.

"Fine I'll carry you" I said and he jumped in joy,

Congrats, I just got tricked by a kid, I really thought he was tired but look at him jump vigorously. Now I have to carry a 25kg child to the parking lot.

I placed him on his car seat and made sure he was comfortable in his position, and while we were on our way to his mom's workplace, he kept singing "Mom has donuts, mom will give me donuts, the donuts are delicious"

Well, I really hope they have donuts there or else his little heart will be crushed.

While we were halfway through the trip, I noticed that he has grown quiet so I checked him on my rear mirror view when the stoplight turned red, only to see cute little Junghwan, deep asleep in his car seat, he might've got tired of his donut song that he fell asleep.

While the countdown until the greenlight was still long, I took this opportunity to send a short text to inform his mom that we're on our way to her and at the same time I texted her

"You better have donuts if you don't want this kid to throw tantrums at you"

The light turned green so I let go of the breaks and carefully drove.

When we arrived, I was surprised to see his mom, waiting on the open parking lot, she had a huge smile on her face as she was excited to see Junghwan, whom she missed all day.

I parked the car and still, little Junghwan was still fast asleep so I was the only one who got out of the car

"He's still asleep" I told her "Don't worry, I left the aircon on and the engine going" (I just needed to clarify this so people wouldn't come at me)

"Oh, I'll wait for him to wake up, I don't want to disturb his sleep" she insisted so we just both agreed,

I left the engine running while we had a little talk beside the car so we would know if Junghwan is awake

"You better have his donuts or else..." I jokingly said

"Yeah, yeah I made sure I do" She said in a slightly annoyed face

"Pretty, pretty Hyun" I said and ruffled her hair

"Stop it, Hyunsuk, you'll ruin my hair, I still have 2 meetings with the boss!" Hyun exclaimed while she went towards the car window to use it as a mirror and fix her hair
