Kabanata 20

First

Marahang dampi ng kaniyang mga labi sa aking noo ang aking dinadama habang magkatabi kaming nakahiga ngayon sa aking kama. Tanging pananabik lang at saya ang nararamdaman ko sa mga oras na ito.

Magkaharap kaming dalawa sa isa't isa. We are staring at each other then smile afterward.

"I love you, Neil." he hoarsely said to me.

Every single word when he says those three words my heart just skipped its beat. It's like stopping my breath for a second in so much happiness. I've never felt this kind of happiness before. Even when I was in a relationship with Ashley. It's just really a spectacular feeling right now.

I just smiled at him. "Fall na fall ka sa'kin a? Ano bang ginawa ko at ganiyan ang naging epekto sa'yo?" I asked him mockingly.

He boyishly chuckled then shrugged. "Nothing? I just naturally feel it," he said hoarsely.

"So honest,"

"Because I don't want to hide anything from you, Mi Arcus." he seriously uttered.

I let out a sigh before I looked away. I look up at the ceiling. I felt him do the same.

"I will never forget this night," he said.

Ipinatong niya ang kaniyang ulo sa kaniyang braso habang nakatingin kaming parehas sa ceiling. It's just plain. We can only see the white ceiling of my room.

"Same. But can you tell me what's 'Mi Arcus' you are calling me?" I asked him curiously.

I just noticed that he called me twice simula kanina. At hindi na iyon nawala sa aking isipan.

I saw him in my peripheral vision glance at me. I did the same. We're now staring at each other. He's just so perfect in my eyes even the lights are off. I never see him this way before. What just happened? Probably the fall thing. Am I starting to fall harder? Fuck.

"Mi Arcus means my rainbow. 'Mi came from a Spanish word while Arcus, meaning rainbow in Latin. You're my rainbow, Neil Irish."

Gusto ko nalang siyang titigan habang sinasabi niya iyon. Ang kaniyang mga mata ay napakagaan ng paraan nang pagtingin sa akin. Ani mong mababasag ako kaya kailangan niya akong marahan na titigan.

"Mi Arcus... I like it." I huskily uttered.

"Hmm, that's what I want to call you since before. Mi Arcus. Come here, let's go to sleep, I know you're exhausted. I want you to sleep now." he then said.

Nang umusad ako malapit sa kaniya ay agad niyang sinakop ng kaniyang mga bisig ang aking katawan. He hugged me tightly.

"It's so tight, Kaizer. I can't breathe." Reklamo kong ani sa kaniya.

Bahagya naman siyang natawa at saka niluwagan ang pagkakayakap sa akin.

Masarap at mainit ang hatid ng kaniyang mga yakap. It was overwhelming and I still can't believe that we're in this position right now. I haven't thought of myself hugging someone in the middle of the night with a guy.

It is all unexpected and very life-changing. I just hope that we can stay like this for long and not just only in the meantime

"Good night, Mi Arcus." He whispered to me huskily.
