I told my parents about being mated twice, my father was not happy and my mother asked how I plan on doing Luna duties for two packs as well as the ambassador position. I spoke with Angel and she said that she would help with the Luna duties here so I was on my way to find Dominic and talk with him when a wave of dizziness hit me. I was by the library and had to lean against the wall and try to shake the fog from my brain. When I closed my eyes I could sense someone. I opened them and scanned the area but no one out of the ordinary was there and no one was paying me any mind. I shook my head, more to clear the fog, and then Dana said we needed to run.
"Right now?"
"Yes, we need to go to the cliff."
"Why, Dana?"
"I don't know, but we need to run and we need to go there NOW."
I could hear her snapping at me and feel the confusion that swirled in her mind. I walked behind the library, stripped placing my things in a neat pile and shifted. I ran into the woods behind the library, and once far enough from the town I changed courses and ran to our spot on the cliff. Now that I was in wolf form I could feel this tug, a slight pull that was calling out to Dana.
"Dahlia be prepared, I'm not sure who or what is there but keep your guard up,
"Okay Dana I will."
What seemed like forever in wolf form Dana finally let me take over and we shifted. I slowly walk towards our spot and standing there is a man. His back is to me and he is naked. I stop and look at him. He has a big build, like Dominic, but slightly bigger, he is muscular but not that gross body builder type. He has a really nice ass, and his legs are muscular as well.
"I can smell you mutt."
He turns to look at me and I swear a god is standing in front of me. His hair is dark brown, shaggy style, his eyes are deep green, not only is his body damn near perfection his face is as well.....( it seems like every male wolf I come in contact with is gorgeous...honestly I don't ever remember seeing a fat ugly wolf?). That thought pops in my head as I glare as this stranger. Godlike face and body aside, he just called me a mutt. He turned to face me and it took all I had to not ogle him and bite my lip at the sight of him. I could hear Dana pacing in my mind, she was torn and was restless. Then the man commanded me
"Come here mutt."
Before I realized what I was doing my feet took me three steps closer to him. I scowled and stopped myself. Looking at the smirk on his face I asked
"What the fuck was that?"
My hands found my hips and I stood there glaring at him. Then all of a sudden I wanted to jump him, ravish him. The need to feel him inside me was strong. I closed my eyes chanting at myself to focus. Dana was pacing her eyes glowing, she wanted to fuck this guy but also to rip his face off. The guy laughed and then walked over to me. He stood in front of me and I barely reached his shoulders, he looked down at me and grabbed my chin in his hand forcing me to look at him.
"A Lycan has the power of persuasion, this is how we keep the peace between the packs, how we have stayed hidden amongst the packs. We are the cast always, the ones that have no set pack. My name is Lucas, I was sent here to find this disturbance that has the elders so upset. Imagine my surprise to find a Lycan, vamp, wolf mutt as the cause of it all. A child who can't control her powers. Why were you not shown or told what your are capable of?"
His fingers dug into my chin as he stared into my eyes.
"I didn't know until a few days ago."
I said between gritted teeth. He sighed at let my chin go, took a step back and looked at me. I stood there, naked, under his scrutiny, and as much as I wanted to cower from the power that radiated off of him I didn't. After looking me over from head to toe and front to back, he walked up to me again and moved my hair from my mate marks. He chuckled then met my eyes.
"These will fade. They already have started. A Lycan is immortal and can only mate with another immortal in order for the mate bond to take. Same with Vampyr. The wolf in you sees only someone to be with, but the bond will not last. In a few days the mate marks will be gone and the bond will not be there. I don't say this to upset you, but I've seen this before and it's a painful realization."
I looked into his eyes and saw the truth and a sadness. I closed my eyes and leaned my head back groaning.
"Why can't my life, for even a month be normal. Fuck me."
His laugh sent a shiver through me and I glared at him.
"Why are you here."
He stopped his laughter and looked down at me with a panty wetting smile.
"For you."
I could hear Dana stop her pacing as she cocked her head to take in this new man. This bitch was mated to two men and was still super horny. I roll my eyes at her and never taking my eyes off Lucas' deep green ones I ask
"Why me?"
His smile got wider and he leaned down to whisper in my ear
"Because you have great powers and when you used them yesterday it sent a signal out to all of us Lycan. I was chosen to come here, assess the new child, and bring him or her up to speed on what is going on. You can use more than lust, your powers include so many other aspects of controlling people. Lycan's are peacekeepers for a reason. ."
He let his lips caress my soft spot on my neck causing me to gasp and clench my thighs together.
He leaned back and took my chin in his hands again and just a few inches from my face he said
"I am here to help you control and learn how to use all your power. And to keep your father away."
My eyes flew open and my heart thundered in my chest....my father.
"H-h-how d-d o you -k-k
...?"
He smiled running his thumb along my bottom lip
"Because it is our job to know, your mother and Alpha hid you from him but they can't hide a Lycan from us. I have been watching you for awhile now, you Dahlia are a naughty little girl. But now you must learn how to control yourself. So I'm here to help."
I feel my body flush as he said I am a naughty girl. If he's been watching me then, oh my Lordy, I bit my lip and couldn't make eye contact. Dana was panting wanting to come through, to touch Lucas. I held her at bay and then realized that Lucas was removing my bottom lip from between my teeth.
"Show me to your Alpha, old and new, there is much for us to discuss....."
He took a few steps back and shifted into the biggest wolf I have ever seen. My head barely came to his shoulder. His wolf was solid black with white tufts on the tips of his ears, his deep green eyes stared at me and I shifted as well. Dana heard the hum of approval from Lucas and shot him a "come get me look" and we were gone. We ran in long strides, not winded, and was enjoying the run. Then someone nipped our tail. We turned our head back to find Lucas there grinning as he ran past us. Dana let out a laugh/bark and put her full speed behind her. The look on his face when we passed him was one of being beat by a girl and mixed into that was lust and want.
