The students around her aren't hiding their stares. She walks with her face looking to the the ground knowing that if she raises her head she'll have to deal with people's reactions to her appearance. The different skin, the red hair, the green eyes... Most of all the long scar running down her cheek. It is a completely healed reminder of the worst moment in her life. The day she lost the only person that ever really loved her.

She is walking towards the office until she bumps into someone. She reacts badly, by just mumbling an apology in her broken Korean and continues on her way. A loud female voice yells at her and she freezes...

"Hey!! Excuse me!! Watch where you're going FREAK!!!"

She turns slowly to raise her eyes to a beautiful girl who is looking at her in anger. She had knocked into the girl causing her to spill her coffee on the white shirt she was wearing. Sophia, her scar hidden by her hair, bows her head and apologizes again. "I'm very sorry. It was an accident. Please, I can pay for your dry cleaning if you'd like."

"You think I need your money? Maybe if you got that hair off your face you could see where you're going." As she said that she reached out and yanked Sophia's hair back harshly. The crowd around them gasped in shock to see the scar marking her otherwise perfect skin. Letting go of her hair, the girl recoiled almost as if she'd been burned.

Sophia started to shake, and fought the tears that now coated her eyes. Biting into her plump bottom lip hard, she lowered her head mumbling another apology and sped away to the office. Outside the door, she paused taking deep breathes and fixing her hair to once again hide what a monster she is.

As she enters the office she's greeted by the sight of a tall, handsome man. Dark hair, nice build, veiny hands, and his thighs were incredible. She didn't realize she'd been checking him out shamelessly until she heard a throat clear. Slowly raising her head to meet his beautiful brown eyes, she's lost immediately. It's like looking into a couple of small galaxies. She could swear they have sparkles in them... Again he cleared his throat, but with a chuckle this time. Sophia puts her face in her hands to hide the rosy tint that now colors her pale face.

"Sorry... I-I'm h-here for m-my schedule." He grins at her and points to the woman he'd been talking to. He bids a goodbye to said woman, and walks past Sophia getting much closer than necessary. She can smell his cologne, and it makes her turn as he passes. She turns one last time, to see him looking back at her with a smile on his face. He looked like a bunny when he smiles.

She giggles at her own thought and turns back toward the now stern looking woman who has her schedule. "He's a teacher here young lady. You should get any impure thoughts out of your head." Sophia is shocked by that. Her thoughts weren't impure... Ok, that's a lie, but she was just appreciating a good looking man. What's the harm in that? Knowing that saying anything like that would make trouble, she simply bows to the woman.

She takes her schedule from the irritated female and exits the office as quickly as possible. As she's walking to her first class, she sees the group from earlier, and hoping to avoid them, ducks into a bathroom. Unfortunately for her, they saw her and decided to follow. As she's washing her hands, the door slams open and a group of 4 girls enter.

Sophia feels afraid of these girls with the way they are looking at her. "So, what happened to your face freak?" Sophia stays silent and looks at the floor. "Are you deaf? I asked you a question. Answer me!" Shaking and looking from one girl to the next hoping for some sympathy, Sophia tries to find her voice, but can't.

The girl from this morning approaches her and gets in her face speaking harshly to Sophia. "You're a freak and noone will accept you here. What are you even? You're not Korean... Why bother. You're fat and disfigured... You should just kill yourself." The words were like knives to the girl who has tried to end her own life many times in the past 2 years. When she didn't get a response still, the bully slaps Sophia across the face and screams at her. "You need to learn to speak when I'm talking to you!! Noone disrespects me in this school and you'll learn that soon enough!" Slapping her again, Sophia falls to the ground.
