Chapter nine: Chase has another side to him; since when?!
My breathing hitched in my throat as the loud thuds from the door echoed the walls of the music room. The sound continued to vibrate through the room as the music sheets I had been seeking earlier slid out my hands and onto the floor. Standing up slowly, I made my way to the door and waited for a bit to see if the person would just give up and leave after they saw that there was no reply.
Instead, the knocks accelerated and were beginning to bring on a head ache. Letting out an annoyed sigh, I yanked the door and came face to face the person on the opposite side. Raising a brow as my heart beat calmed down, I looked into the deep green eyes of none other than, Chase. His hand was in the position to land his hand back on the door with his eyebrows scrunched together. Having noticed I had come to the door and knocking would no longer be necessary, his land dropped to his side as he attempted to enter the room.
It was a good attempt, but there’s no way I'm letting that bastard in my sanctuary in my sane mind. The first and last time he was in here was because I was thoroughly disorientated. Now that I was sober and had all my senses intact, he wouldn’t be entering this room while I was here. Wait; scratch that. I don’t want him in this room at all.
“If you mind me asking, what the fuck do you need?” I asked haughtily.
“I’d like to come in if that’s fine with you ma’am,” He replied with a wink.
“I’m sorry, but I don’t think that’s happening anytime soon,” I replied, looking at him with a bored expression while on the inside I was still trembling a bit.
“Well, if you don’t want anyone knowing who opened up this room, then I’d suggest you let me through babe,” He answered sweetly.
“You wouldn’t dare,” I challenged.
“Oh Janit-,” He started yelling out. Seeing now that he wasn’t kidding around, I clamped my hand over his mouth and dragged him inside; closing the door with my foot in the process.
“You’re gonna sit your ass down, and shut the fuck up while you’re in here, ok?” I told him as I removed my hand from his mouth. Gone was my timid side because my demanding side was now taking control.
Ignoring all of what I said, he managed to say, “Your hands felt so good against my mouth.....I wonder how’d it feel somewhere else,” with a wicked glint in his eye.
“Listen here buddy, you’re already on my bad side so I’d suggest you go hide in the corner and pretend you don’t exist,” I snapped; furious at how openly he was suggesting things.
“Sure thing princess,” He replied easily as he walked from where he was standing to the piano seat; plopping himself down, as if anyone invited him there.
If he doesn’t come out alive, it’s not like I didn’t warn him.
Looking over to where he was sitting, I shook my head in dismay and went to go retrieve the papers I was trying to find before I was so rudely interrupted by him. Zipping up my backpack and leaning it against the wall, I gathered the sheet music and headed back over to the piano.
“Get up, fatass,” I said in a bored expression.
“I'm not a fatass! Do you know how many people would want to tap this?” He asked, gesturing towards himself.
“Are you forgetting that I'm not one of them?” I shot back with a raised brow.
“Well played,” Was his reply, as he clapped his hands a bit.
