"If you don't let him explain how he is supposed to explain?" Yoongi asked, following Y/n, who wasn't paying attention.

She pulled something down from the shelf, "How much sauce do we need?" It was a few days before Christmas and they decided to celebrate together, seeing as none of them had the best relationships with their families. And since the incident at the hospital, Jungkook has been trying to explain himself to Y/n, with no success. Even though she told him to explain, she felt her own hurt from his internalized homophobia.

"There's eight of us. All of us eating too much. Get the whole shelf," Yoongi advised.

"Eight?" Y/n said, knowing that meant Jungkook. He had explained his actions to the rest, but Y/n, being as stubborn as she is, refused to him hear out. Saying it'd be stupid exusce to be discriminatory towards an entire community.

Yoongi sighed, "He's gotten everyone expect yours forgiveness. Hear him out. He has good growth."

"In two weeks?" Y/n pushed the cart farther down. She knew she wasn't being right. That she was the one who told to him explain. But she couldn't help but fear.

Yoongi went infront of the cart, "Let him talk. Over text, even, if you don't want to see him face-to-face. We've all been where he is."

"Has Taehyung?"

"Yes. All that's left is you."

She sighed, having to admit defeat. "Fine. Call him to the studio."

"I'm sorry," Jungkook started. Y/n sat across from him, with Yoongi behind her. Both the boys knew this wouldn't be easy, but they were both also determined to get her to listen. "I understand I was wrong. Just because I have friends who are not straight, doesn't mean I can't be homophobic. And I see that now. I know how wrong it is."

"Why? Why were you? Why are you?"

Yoongi glanced down at her, "Y/n, be gentle."

Jungkook whipped his sweaty palms on his jeans, "My parents were always religious. Very Catholic. Church every Sunday, never say God's name in vain, anyone who wasn't in the church I wouldn't be around," He started, "I was raised in the environment of, unless your a heterosexual and cisgender, you're a sin. And I know it's wrong. And I didn't think I was like that. I believed love is love, gender is a social construct."

Y/n sat there, quietly. She understood what he was saying, she was raised similarly. But she also rejected the idea of God and religion at a very young age.

"But, when Taehyung and I kissed, I felt something I never felt for a man. I got scared. And I guess that's when the homophobia came out. My parents have always accepted me, but looking back, I've always been attracted to men more than women. But I was scared to say it."

"Jungkook, get to the point," Y/n commented.

Jungkook looked up at Yoongi, who gave him an encouraging nod, before licking his lips and returning to Y/n, "I'm gay and I like Taehyung."
