Waking up first, Harry rubbed the sleep from his eyes. It was reluctant- him waking up. Harry wanted to spend forever being held by Draco because he loved the feelings that come with the warm embrace and the soul, he just let Harry see in his eyes. While they were resting however, two (if you count one as only one person) people were stalking the halls in the eerie night.
Lips pressed in a thin line, her eyes were dull, dim, focused- but not on anything right. Nothing about her eyes, mouth, posture, matched her looks, her personality (or what it used to be), fitting with herself in general. I need The Room Of Hidden Things, she walked once along the corridor of the seventh floor- she thanked herself for Quidditch, otherwise those sets of stairs would cause her death. I need The Room Of Hidden Things, repeated the girl, pacing once against behind a wall she was familiar with. I need The Room Of Hidden Things, this time, a grand, dark blue door laced with golden patterns appeared in front of her eyes when she looked up.
Clutter. Nothing else could he said to describe the room but that- possibly complete chaotic organisation... A room that weird, yet set with stuff you would find in a normal Wizarding home. Stacks of books- smoked in dust, drowned in yellow, and painted a sea of monotone colours. It’s walls weren’t see able as the endless oceans of the room piled and piled (up, down and back) as far as the girl could see.
“This place is fascinating.” One muttered, running their middle finger painted and pampered perfectly through a sheet coving another pile of books, then wiping it on a world globe watching as it spun and spun and spun.
“We are not here to gaze, girl.” The girls voice was threatening with that personality. Octavia muttered something under her breathe unbearable to anyone. Ginny ignored it, sniffing in annoyance and carried on walking- with her back straight, head high and shoulders back.
“You shouldn’t be here, or do you need reminding the Dark Lord didn’t think you could manage this task?” Octavia bit back, but without as much bark because he eyes were still wondering around the cluttered, crazy room. “Also, I was born before you- by a substantial amount may I ad- so watch your tounge you ungrateful swine.”
When Harry fully woke, he pushed his glasses up and softly sighed into the pillows. He saw Draco less fussy, less soft, and more defined, more sharpened. Not that that was necessarily a bad thing- because Harry could argue how all of Draco looks like a god.
Kissing him on the head, Harry gently wiped his thumb over Draco’s cheek and whispered to him. Opening his eyes, Draco lazily blinked for a minute and smiled at Harry with such a dazed expression Harry was inclined to think he and Luna were related.“What a great way to wake up.” Draco said mid-stretch and flopped back onto the bed with an undignified ‘humph’ when he landed.
Gently, Harry laughed, “With me by your side, how can it not?” Draco scowled at him, also hitting him lightly upside the head.
“I retract my statement and request to be carried to the shower- too tired.” The last part was mumbled into the pillow because, he snuggled up closer to it, and pulled the quilt over his shoulders up to the top of his neck.
“Whatever you say, your majesty.” Harry mockingly bowed, walking over to the other side of the bed and pulled the covers away. Whining, Draco groaned when the coldness hit his skin but happily smiled when Harry carried him bridal style to the bathroom.
“Thank you, kind peasant.” Draco breathed in, “However, you need to bathe also: I suppose I could spare a few of my finer products, and my personal space of course, for the time of thirty minutes."
“How generous for you to offer such a thrilling experience to such a low-life like myself.” Harry played along but, his smile broke his character.
