Recap: (fifty- fifty four)
Harry and Draco make up from when Harry pushed Draco and didn't believe him. Blaise and Pansy became friends again after Blaise told her about the letter. Blaise then apologises to Hermione for calling her a degrading name by also showing her the letter.
Harry is shown a memory of Voldemort's parents and grandfather.
Pansy admits her feelings for Hermione to herself. Blaise and Neville kiss, but Blaise isn't ready for a relationship so Neville says he'll wait. Draco and Harry go to Hogsmeade for a date where Slughorn invites them and Blaise to his SlubClub meetings. On the way back from Hogsmeade they see Katie Bell and a cursed necklace.
Blaise reveals to Neville the context of the letter: Octavia (his oldest sister) was forced into the mark and Blaise feels guilty, because he believes if he was there, then Blaise would have the mark and not his sister.
Harry tells Draco his theory of it being Ginny. Draco says he thinks Harry is wrong but doesn't stop the boy from looking into it. Later, when he brings it up with Hermione, she says the same. Blaise is training for the Quidditch Match, because Snape banned Harry from playing the first game.

"I can't do this Potter. I am not you! They want me to catch the Snitch within the first minute, doing a move that will get me killed? No! Not a chance in Hecate!" scolded Blaise sitting at the Slytherin table for breakfast before the match. Around him, everyone was spreading excitement for the first match of the Quidditch season. Unlike Blaise, who sat in his seat bouncing his leg chewing on his nails and ignoring his empty plate and all of his surroundings.
Hermione folded her book closed, "I for one, don't understand the excitement behind throwing an enchanted piece of leather through a hoop and catching a sparkly sphere." Draco, Harry and Blaise glared at her. She huffed, going back to her book but did catch the smile Pansy gave her.
Looking around, Harry fished into his back robe pocket for a tear-drop shaped vile with a pop off lid he can easily flick back on with his thumb. Quickly, Harry brought his hand from inside his robes to the goblet in front of the Italian, releasing three drops of the potion into the water. He smirked at Blaise, the boy grabbing the goblet and drinking it all in one go. Next to him, Draco laughed slinging an arm over his boyfriend.
Leaning into the embrace, he enjoyed the happiness in the contact and could see Draco smile into his raven hair, his eyes alight in amusement. "Harry! You can't do that!" Hermione whisper-shouted and hit Harry in the arm with the back of her hand.
Harry looked at her with pure innocence and curiosity, "Do what Hermione? I don't know what you're talking about." Draco laughed even more, kissing Harry on the cheek. Again, Hermione sighed.
Opposite Hermione, Pansy gave her a look, "What's the difference between him doing that and you casting that spell, darling?" The Ravenclaw didn't reply preferring to bury herself in the Defence against the Dark Arts book even further.
