HARRY'S POV
It had been two days since that... incident in the dorm room. Draco keeps piling my plate with food every meal time too. Honestly, seeing something from Draco's side, I can see why he did the things he did.
He was brought up by a mom who he seemed to love but, she was afraid of Lucius. Don't even get me started on that unicorn-haird man: he abuses his son and that is not right.Ron still hadn't spoke to me in four days, how could someone be that mad for me telling him to back of Blaise? (I'm on a first-name basis with the three now. Unsure about Crabbe ans Goyle but, everyone calls them Crabbe and Goyle).
Fred and George could buy a shop at the rate their going. Slytherin's prefects don't seem to care as long as the twins give them cuts, I still think it's a very small price to pay for how much they're making.
Hermione and Blaise have started to get closer, I'm not too sure about him though. From what I've heard Draco say, he has a bit of a reputation. Obviously, I had been told by Draco; other than the little group I'm in plus the twins I couldn't be more disliked if I killed Salazar myself (he's already dead but you get the point).
I am up to my neck in homework and because of that stupid umbridge woman I have detention till god knows o'clock in the morning. She needs to take her names advice- build a bridge and get over it.
----------------Back To Lesson------------
'Great I dozed in Care of Magical Creatures! I'm standing up for heavens sake!' I shouted in my head doing the action as if I was saying it. Nobody paid attention to me, they were too busy starring at the unicorns in front of them. They looked like alive versions of Thestrals, seeing a live one compared to the dead one Malfoy and I witnessed in our first year was different. Draco didn't want to go near it, maybe it brought back memories- it was practically scarring for a first year.
In the middle of that lesson, I decided Ron's stubbornness was out of hand as he asked Dean to ask me to pass him the brush when he could've asked me as we were working next to one another. "Okay, Ron, you can give it a rest now. Look, I'm sorry for the way I said that to you but, my point still stands." I calmly phrased at him and he was shocked.
"Wait...what?" I didn't know if he was shocked that I spoke to him or the way I phrased it differently to how I'd normally talk, "Why the hell do I not deserve an apology? You stuck up for that, that no good soon-to-be Death Eater and I am the one in the wrong?""Yes, yes you are Ron. For your information Blaise is nutural. His Mom was a death Eater but stopped when it got his dad killed for being married to one!" I lied about the stopping part. She did for a while, until he returned, "I thought you would never resort to using blood as an insult Ron! The amount of times you've went at Draco for calling 'Mione a mudblud is unacountable. You are being very hypocritical!" Before he opened his mouth I snapped back "choose your next words carefully!"
Yes, some stuff I said was uncalled for. Yes, things Ron said was out of line, especially the way his pure blood family are compared to the oth- wait, what am I thinking? I can't think about Ron's family like that!
I think that kind of decided the point of our 'best buddies honeymoon period' ended. He didn't seem to care though, so why should I?
It wa back to the pink, trolls detention. Well yeah, the pain hit the back of my hand. I think the only thing I've ever felt stronger pain from was the Cruciatus curse. This time though, this time was different. She made we write with the other arm and made me write 'I shall not use foul language' until it "sunk in". It never did but, Quidditch try-outs were soon and I so want to beat Ron if I'm on the Slytherin team. Maybe even the twins will end up as the beaters again.
