Friday 23rd October
Dear diary,
Everything that happened:-
'Take a seat Ms.Anderson,' said Dr.Alicia pointing to the chair,' Are these your sisters?'
'No, my best friends actually,' I answer and she nods.
'So, as for my papers here, you want to get a pregnancy test?' She asked looking through her papers, which were messed up on the her desk.
'Yes Dr'.
'Okay, so what symptoms do you get?'
'Umm...vomi-'.
'Vomiting, dizziness, emotions all over the place, high temperature and I guess that's all what we have discovered until now,' Hannah continued for me.
'Okay Mrs.Anderson. Now, I want you to lie down here,' she said pointing to a chair like bed. I sat down and she continued,'So, right now, I am going to start the test'.
I looked at Hana and Hannah and they were already looking at me.
I mouthed "I am scared Hana".
And Hannah mouthed back "We're here sweetie" before intertwining my fingers with hers and so did Hana.
Dr.Alicia put some type of jell on my stomach and then spread it over using a metal objects. Minutes later after spreading the jell, Dr.Alicia finally spoke.
'Look at that?' She said pointing to a small part in the screen.
I nodded and I could feel the girls tighten their hands on mine as they are intertwined.
'That's your baby'.
'My baby?'
'Yes stupid!' Hana chuckled.
'Yes Dida! Your baby! Yours! Right here!' She exclaims pointing to my stomach.
'Mine....right here...I can't believe it! I am actually carrying a living human being inside of me!' Tears of joy, I think, started rolling down on my face and I couldn't help but think of Niall.
'Would you girls like a photo?' Asked Dr.Alicia.
'Yeah sure 6 copies please 👍,' I said moving my hand up and down on my stomach.
'I will be right back'.
Moments later the doctor came back with our photos and it was time to leave.
Suddenly, all of the fear was gone and all I could think about was Niall and my baby, nothing else. I was growing up and I didn't even realize it until that time.
Goodbye childhood.
