Some time ago - Nezu's Office.
"I must say there's a lot of potential in these kids, but not all of them can make it to the final team," Jason says with a sigh.
"That's the hard part, which is why Saba and Alpha 5 will be there to see which of the students have a stronger connection to the grid," Tommy responds, gaining a nod from said automaton and sword.
"I can already pick a strong connection from the green-haired kid, but there's something off about him and the blonde teacher he's with." Saba says gaining the attention of the rangers and the principal.
"What sort of strange, Saba?" Billy asks.
"Usually when I see someone like say, Jen, I see one point of connection with the grid. People like Tommy, Jason, TJ and Adam, have one grid connection that branches into their various sources. However, there is something off about that kid. He seems to have multiple connections already." Saba responds.
[This is pure head-canon, I'm not sure if this is true or not, I don't remember much about Saba's powers from the second season of MMPR but since Saba is able to access the grid, I thought he should be able to do this as well. The second part is from the Boom! Comics run of MMPR, Shattered Grid and Beyond The Grid storylines.]
"And the only way a person can have multiple connections is if they have been part of multiple teams as different rangers like Tommy, Jason and Adam are," Billy replies. "How does he have already existing connections?"
"I don't think he has connections. Just the potential to draw from multiple sources." Tommy says.
[I've given Adam and Jason the master morpher because they were part of more than one team.]
"Correct Billy, but the boy and the one you call All Might have more than once connection without being previously connected to the grid. I believe it could simply be their quirks but to test this we will have to talk to the boy personally." Saba responds.
"Then let me call him here, it'll simplify things for you all quite a lot. Of course, I could tell you about his quirk, but I believe at this point, he is a much better person to explain his quirk to all of you." Nezu then presses a button on the table in front of him as a mic pop out of the table. "Will Izuku Midoriya of Class 1-A report to meeting room zeta. I repeat Izuku Midoriya to meeting room zeta."
[This takes place after the 1-A vs 1-B training, oh I guess spoiler alert, anyway, Izuku currently has some control over black whip and can use it at 10% and has his Full Cowling limit at 35%. It's a bit boosted compared to his canon counterpart who had little control over the second quirk and had an overall limit of 25 percent if my memory is correct.]
Nezu presses the button again as the mic disappears. Nezu then sends a message to All Might, it was a simple coded message - 'Three Musketeers'. He received the reply almost immediately, a thumbs up emoji from the retired pro giving him the go-ahead for revealing it to the rangers. He then sits back on his seat as they wait for Izuku to arrive.
Soon there is a knock on the door as Izuku peaks in to see the rangers and Nezu sitting and watching the training.
"Ahhh, Young Midoriya, please come in," Nezu says. "Mr. Oliver wanted to discuss something regarding you. I believe it has something to do with it. I have already spoken to All Might about it after I called you here so you can tell them about it and trust them to keep it a secret as well."
