Chapter 6 - New Rangers

"Alright..." Doc K replies. "now on with the morphers. Now some of these morphers/ gems/ coins or whatever will choose their wielder while with some others you will simply know which one to pick, so I want all of you to raise your hands towards the case and wait for them to either jump to you or to understand which one to pick. If you don't get what to pick, do not fret, sometimes it takes time to be chosen by the grid. It is also possible that some of you might be chosen by more than one morpher."

"Alright enough chit chat, everyone hands up!" Tommy says, getting a bit impatient.

Everyone raises their hands and almost immediately, coins, gems and crystals start to fly out of the case, going and stopping in the hands of their wielders.

"This is rather impressive." Doc K comments. "I didn't expect so many of you to be chosen by more than one right away!" she exclaims.

All of the students look at each other confused, before looking at the morphers in their hands.

"Alright I'll give you guys a quick rundown of what teams you all will lead." Tommy says, walking in front of Kendo.

"You Miss Kendo have been chosen by the Red Zeo Crystal, you shall be leading the Zeo rangers I shall be teaching you how to harness those powers, with Jason, but you will only be allowed to use the Zeo powers in extreme cases as it is harmful for humans, though we don't know if it might affect you the same way it affects us since your physiology is a bit different from ours due to your quirks. You have also been chosen by the Blue Ninja Disk; Cam shall be your sensei for your training. You shall be focusing on those powers for now." He tells the girl reassuring her a bit.

[Head-canon – The Zeo powers were dropped for the turbo powers because like how the gold Zeo powers were slowly killing Jason, the Zeo Crystals were also killing the other ranger. That combines with the fact that the new turbo team save for the blue ranger, became the space rangers, ensured that there was a full team of Zeo rangers on earth to protect it in the absence of the space rangers. PS this is not my theory, it's something I've seen on YouTube.]

"Mr. Todoroki, you have been chosen by the Red Samurai Lion Origami and the white Mystic wand, I'll ask Nick to make that into a cell morpher like the rest. I kinda expected you to get the red mystic force instead of the samurai lion, since fire and ice you know, but either way, use those powers wisely."

"Mr. Iida, you shall be leading the Ninja Storm rangers as the Red Wind Ranger, Cam shall be your sensei just like he is to Ms. Kendo and you are a part of the Samurai rangers as their gold ranger and working closely with Lauren and Todoroki. You shall be working with Doc K and Cam and learning their ways."

"Mr. Monoma, you have been chosen by the lights of Orion to lead the new team of Galaxy rangers as their red ranger. You shall also be the Silver RPM ranger and will be working with Ziggy and Doc K to learn your powers."

"Mr. Tetsutetsu, you have been chosen as the Red Wild force ranger, being chosen by the Red Lion Crystal and Pachycephalosaurs Energem or the Dino Charge Grey ranger. You will be working closely with Doc K and Kendall, so you better learn to understand their mutterings."

"Ms. Yaoyorozu, you have been chosen by the Red Chrono Morpher. Don't let being chosen by one morpher deter you, there are teams where the morphers don't choose their wielders, work hard and if you do well, you might just be chosen to represent those teams as well."

"Mr. Kirishima you were chosen by the Jungle chucks because of your Tiger spirit and the Plesiosaur energem. You will be working with Kendall and RJ to hone these powers."

"Mr. Bakugou you have been chosen by 2 morphers the Red Tyrannosaurus Energem. You also have in you the spirit of the Lion, hence your pride and ego which allowed those brass lion claws to respond to you."

[I wasn't sure how to have the different Jungle fury powers chose their wielders, so I'll be using the weapons. The logic behind this was that the weapons need some amount of spirit energy to be used and hence will respond to the spirits that the students have. Thus, the jungle nunchucks would jump to the one with the strongest tiger spirit, the jungle bow to the cheetah, the jungle tonfa to the jaguar, the jungle mace for the elephant, jungle fan to the bat, the jungle sabers to the shark, the rhino Morpher to the rhino, the wolf Morpher to the wolf spirit and the jungle sai to the chameleons.]

"And finally, we have Mr. Midoriya, you sir, have been chosen by the Red Mystic Morpher, you'll be working with nick. So, get ready since Nick will be hard on you since it is his power you will overtake. You were also chosen by the Dino gem. I'll be taking care of your training for that. But focus on training with Nick for now." Tommy explained. "Alright all of you, head back to your class, the rest of your classmates will return soon. You'll be called for a meeting with the rest of the school to see your teams."

"Bakugou and Midoriya, please stay back for a bit." Jason says. "Doc K lead the students out and close the door behind you."

The others follow Doc K out of the cafeteria, heading to their classes.

"Now you two have by far the strongest sources of power to draw from and we want you to be careful of that, understood." Jason says as Izuku nods.

"Izuku, give me the dino gem." Tommy says, stretching his hand.

Izuku hands the giant rock to Tommy.

"Now, the way the gems originally worked was that they would turn into bracelets once they hit your wrist. Going off of that same logic, if I were to place this on your wrist you should have a way to carry them easily." Tommy says as he places the rock on Izuku's wrist.

The rock glows for a minute before it vanishes and a silver band with 3 gems appears on Izuku's wrist. "Just as I thought." Tommy comments.

"Huh, what do you mean by that, Dr. Oliver?" Izuku questions looking the bracelet on his wrist.

"The red, blue and yellow Dinogem act on a similar morphing frequency, which on combining, allowed the Red ranger to access his Triassic ranger form. On the other hand, the white and the black dino gems work on frequencies that are distinct from eachother and the other 3, hence there being 3 gems on that wrist band. Alright, Midoriya, here's the deal, you will only use your Mystic force powers till I tell you that you are ready for Dino thunder, I have no idea what all the gems together can do to a person, since the last person we tried this on kind went kaboom, granted you have 5 different connections that are all-natural because of your quirk while his was forced with no connections whatsoever." Tommy reassures the two boys. "Stay with the mystic force team for now, we'll find some way to help you practice with your dino powers."

"That is not really reassuring you know, but I'll take your word for it." Izuku says.

"Why was I asked to stay?" Katsuki asks them. 

"We were getting to that." Jason sighs. "I am now honestly wondering how Zordon managed to always stay calm with us." He mutters. 

Tommy chuckles. "The reason we asked you both to wait is because there is one for source of connection for the two of you." He tells them as he places his Master Morpher on the desk.
