Chapter 12 - Weekend Training

Sunday.

Today our rangers in training had their first day off from their training with the Rangers. And most used this day to sleep, including most of class 1-A students. Most except for Izuku and Bakugou. Those two were busy training with All Might overseeing their fight.

"So how's your progress with that damn quirk, deku?" Katsuki asked the boy, while hitting him with explosions.

"Good actually. I've reached 25% percent now. And I have a small surprise for you guys." Izuku said with a smirk as he vanished from in front of Katsuki, appearing behind the boy and using the Ptera-scream to stun the explosion quirk boy.

Katsuki throws a blind explosive fist only for Izuku to tank the attack with his Tricera-Skin and counter with a 10% smash.

Just as Katsuki gained his bearings, Izuku turned himself invisible. (Consider the fact that it's been 3 days since Izuku first used his Dino thunder powers, this is including the day he first used them.)

Katsuki tried to look around for his childhood friend/rival only to get a punch to his gut. He tries to counter the punch by punching the air in front of him, only for his punch to miss.

"I'm here, kaachan!" Izuku taunted, his voice reaching Katsuki's left ear. Katsuki tried to punch the air to his left but felt a kick behind him, forcing him to his knees. Katsuki quickly got up and punched the air in front of him, narrowly missing Izuku and breaking Izuku's focus, releasing his invisibility. Katsuki quickly rushed at the boy who evaded the attack and kneed Katsuki in the gut using the boys momentum against him.

"And time." All Might said, getting up from his seat in the corner of the ground. "That was a great session, but what were those powers you used, Young Midoriya." He asked the green haired boy.

"Well, those were powers the dino gems gave me. the red one gives super speed, the blue one gives durability, yellow one gives a sonic scream, and the black one is invisibility. The white one gives speed and camouflage." Izuku explained.

"Talk about power." All Might said, sweat dropping at Izuku's slightly expanded powers.

"Also, All Might, a few days ago, the previous users met me in the vestige world of One for All." Izuku explained as Katsuki listened in carefully. "They said something about them helping me control one for all and that they wanted to talk to me, but since them I haven't been able to access the place for some reason." Izuku told his mentor and rival.

"Nerd, try meditating when you're free. And give me a heads up before you try cuz if you go through then Round Face will be worried about you and all that shit." Katsuki told him.

"That is a good idea, young bakugou. Meditating might help, but you'll need to have an environment that is conducive for meditation. The dorms are not ideal for meditating, how about you go home for a few hours, I'm sure In- uhh I mean Mrs. Midoriya will help you with meditating." All Might suggested.

"No need to hide your relationship with my mom, All Might. She already told me about it the last time I visited her." Izuku told the retired pro. "She also knows of one for all and she has agreed to keep it a secret as well. Also I didn't know you cared Kaachan."

"Sh-shut up! I'm only doing this so I get a better challenge for my title as Number 1." Katsuki shouted. "Also, All Might's dating your mom!" Katsuki exclaimed.

"Yeah, mom decided it was for the best. Plus I've seen All Might as my father figure for quite a while now, almost 12 years, I'm sure I would have made that clear sometime along the way. Or were you too distracted with your ego?" Izuku snidely remarked.

"Hey, I apologised for my behaviour back then. My head was pretty high up my ass, I'll admit that much. But I'm happy for auntie." Katsuki told them. "At least with All Might in the picture, she won't sulk about that bastard of a man, Hisashi. it was bad enough that she blamed herself for you being quirkless, but then he up and left out of nowhere when he could have helped was a total dick move. This also means that half and half was right to an extent, you know with all the Secret love child stuff."

"I have to agree to that. That man was a dick, I really wonder what he's doing now though." Izuku said. "And don't tell Todoroki, he'll go crazy with his theories again and be like I told you so, I don't want to deal with that again, I already dealt with it when Shinso told us he was Aizawa's nephew."

Somewhere, in a prison,  a man sneezed.

"Did you catch a cold, huh. Do you need some meds, old man!" A man in a guard uniform taunted.

"Hey! What did sir say that about talking to that prisoner." Another man said over the intercom.

"Oh come on, cut me some slack, it gets boring here with faceless freak over here." the first guard replied.

"Consider this your last warning before you are shifted to the upper levels." The man announced over the intercoms before switching it off.

Back to the main focus.

"Whatever it is, it shouldn't bother you two." All Might said, placing his arms on the shoulders of the two boys. "You two need to rest and Izuku need to try and meditate. I'll talk to Nezu about you getting a leave for a few days sometime next week. Now go take a shower and then rest."

"Sir, yes sir!" The two boys replied with a smile.

"So Deku, those gems give you those powers right?" Katsuki asked the boy.

"Basically. But from what I've heard, like from Tommy, they're planning to let R.J, Andros, Karone, Bowen, Cam and Sarah teach people some of their techniques to aid them fight." Izuku told his friend as he walked back to the dorms.

"Wait so you mean everyone is going to learn the techniques of Pai Zhua, telekinesis from long hair and his sister, magic from that weirdo teacher of yours and get some ninja training?" Katsuki asked him in shock.

"I believe so, but some of us are being excluded from the training since we already have more that 2 ranger powers." Izuku responded. "That would include me, you and a few others."

"Well then we got to train our asses till then." Katsuki replied.

"And we're going on a trip to excavation sites next weekend. Your team, all 10 of them and me along with Tommy, Kendal and Heckyl." Izuku informed.

"Seriously, you know too much about our schedule man. Its unfair to the rest of us." Katsuki replied.

"Well, I do tell you what they tell me, at least when Im allowed to." Izuku responded.

"Sure, well, I'm taking a nap after this, don't wake me unless it for lunch or else I'll explode your ass to next month." Katsuki said as he went to his room to get his clothes so he could take a shower before napping.
