"No don't hey Zachy me! Seriously man?"
"Dude calm down, it's not like we are keeping it a secret."
"I know but it doesn't make the.....situation any less weird when I see you guys together." Monty and I start laughing hysterically at how awkward and uncomfortable Zach looks.
"Yeah yeah laugh it up, guys."
"Do-don't worry...we-we are!" Zach just rolls his eyes and can't help but laugh about all of it. Monty got a ride here with us so naturally, we gave him a ride home as well. We pull up in front of Monty's house, but as soon as the car door opens I was greeted by an overwhelming smell of alcohol. If the alcohol wasn't enough I heard Monty's dad yelling in a very colorful language followed by the sound of banging and breaking glass.
"Estela isn't home right?"
"No-no she stayed the night with A friend. Thanks for the ride guys." Before he can take another step I grab his arm and yank him back into the car.
"Are you fucking crazy? You're not staying here with your dad like that!"
"Liv it's nothing new-"
"It's not usually this bad! You're staying with us tonight end of discussion."
"Thanks, Liv but-"
"This is not an argument you're going to win. You're coming with us no matter what, even if it means I have to handcuff your arm to the door." The smile he gave me made me blush so hard. Luckily for me, it was dark enough he couldn't see it all that well. I hear the front door open and look over only to be scared half to death. At the door was Monty's dad with a baseball bat in one hand and a fifth in his other hand.
"Zach-Zach...we got-we gotta go now!" I finally managed to get the sentence out of my mouth. Zach steps on the accelerator just as Monty's dad was about 6 feet away. That was close, that was way to freakin close.
