Pick and Choose

Tower

I woke up the morning with a pounding headache. I turned and looked at my clock. 10:47 am.

Shit

I missed breakfast. I look to Piper and lulus bed and see them out cold too. I didn't drink that much last night. Only 2 muggle drinks and half a shot of firewiskey. I get up amd take a shower. After I get dressed in these lilac purple sweats and a dark gray oversized muggle band tee. Most of my clothes are from muggle stores because that's where we spend our summers and to be honest the wizarding worlds clothes aren't nearly as cute.

I slip out of our dorm and decide to find maybe Cedric or someone to help me find food. I enter the common room and see Louis sitting on a couch reading. Great. I thought to myself. I didn't want to ignore him so I sat next to him. He sees me and sets down his book on his lap and looks at me.

"Morning diggory." He says playfully. I roll my eyes. "How's the hangover?" I ask.

"Um not as bad as I thought I... I don't remember much though." He says awkwardly looking away from me. "Oh neither do I to be honest." I lied.

"Well have you gotten any food?" He questions as he looks back at me.

"No I just woke up." I say. "Neither have I let's go see if there's anything left." He then walks past me towards the door.

We started walking towards the hall and as we were about to enter I hear "AH my two favorite Hufflepuffs." I turn around and see Blaise. He then walks in the middle of us and throws his arms over our shoulders. "Have fun last night? Cause I sure did. Almost saw the year 5 Ravenclaw strip in front of me." He says. "And then you guy's kissed, wow was that awkward for us all."

We both stop on our tracks. Louis looking at the floor and I looking right at Blaise. "Oh come on don't tell me you guys forgot." He jokes and begins walking to the great hall again without us. Oh how much I hate him right now. I turned the Louis looking down.

"So you remembered too?" I ask. He swallows. "Oh ya, your not a bad kisser if it makes you feel any better." He tried to joke to ease the tension between us.

"Oh god we can't tell Cedric we remember if he even remembers." I say meeting his eyes. Wow his eyes are so beautiful.

"Ya of course not let's just go." He starts to walk off. I slowly followed behind no longer walking by his side. Blaise just brings that up and leaves us to deal with it.

We enter the great hall and see Draco and Blaise sitting together at the Slytherin table as well. He must of missed breakfast as well.

"Go on Louis I'll be back in a second." I say looking at Blaise. Louis nods and walks off. I walk over to the Slytherin table mad. I walk up behind Blaise and slap him right in the back of the head almost like Snape always does to students.

"Bloody hell mate." He says turning around. Draco and shocked but laughing at this. "Why did you need to bring that up. Me and Louis we're doing just fine acting like nothing happened." I rage at him.

"Did Miss Huffleupuff do something bad?" Draco says grinning. "Look at me like that again and I'll hit you like I did to him." I say hitting Blaise again.

"Look Cami-" Blaise was saying before he got cut off.

"What the hell You call her cami? So you two are friends now? Of all people to choose you chose this Hufflepuff." He says with a disgusted look on his face. Something about that hurt more than usual. My face turns into a frown. "Fuck off Mafloy." I say turning around and walking away. I hear Blaise say something but I didn't care anymore. I sat back down with Louis and ate. Piper later joined us but not for long.

Saturday's are normally boring unless you have plans. All I did that was exciting for the day was plant a couple pots with Neville in his dorm. He's OBSESSED with plants, it's adorable. Other than that I ran into Ron and we spoke for a while but not for long. It was around 7 and I went back to my dorm after dinner to do some reading then probably fall asleep.

I did some journaling which is something I decided to get into for my mental health. Last year I had multiple panic attacks but luckily they were all in my dorm or someone else's, never the halls. I'm trying to calm myself by writing. If I journal what I'm great full for or just good things in my life it's supposed to make me feel better. At least what what the muggle therapist I went to said.

It was around 9:15. Piper fell asleep reading and I think Lulu is at another Hufflepuffs room painting. I decided to go for a walk since it wasn't that late and I knew for a fact the halls would have professors in them by 10 which was Saturday curfew. I walked around and made my way to the astrology tower. I sat down against the wall and watched the stars.

Then I heard footsteps. "Luminous" I whisper. My wand light turns on and I see a pale boy standing with a smirk again. The same one I got this morning. I roll my eyes once again. "Can I help you." I ask him.

"I just came up here to think, Looks like you did the same. I was bored and Blaise fell asleep." He says walking to the railing. "But how are you two?"

I looked up at him. "Um were good. He's the only friend I have in Slytherin which is cool I guess."

"I'm here Diggory." He says turning to face her. Diggory. Something I've only ever heard Louis call me. I cleared my throat. "Draco, we haven't spoken since year 2, and even with that you didn't want to talk to me."

He laughed at this. "Come on Hufflepuff I'm only kidding, I don't think I could stand being your friend." This shocked me. But then again it's Draco what can you expect? "Ya of course..." I mumble.

He stood in silence for a while because neither of us really wanted to talk. He turned away and started to walk off. I turned around to watch him leave but just before he heads down the stairs I hear, "I can walk you back if you'd like me to." I had no response to this. Especially from the Draco Malfoy. "Oh ya thanks... I'm coming." I stutter.

I quickly follow behind him as he heads to the Hufflepuff common rooms. We weren't that far but being the tower was almost halfway from my common room it took a while.

"Really Draco you don't need to, it's already 10 and we already passed Slytherins room." I say. He doesn't look at me. "You have a better chance getting caught with me after hours then you do alone." Then, We continued to walk. It's a calm pace. Quiet steps from both of us. Not a word from our mouths. Then he stops. He put him arm out to stop me from walking. He then pushes me into the boys bathroom which I noticed was the closest room to us.

"Shhh, Snapes coming." He whispers looking out the door and softly shutting it. We both stand in silence in the dark bathroom, fairly close because of the dark room. He pulls out his wand and turns on the lights. I looked around since I have never been in a male bathroom before, quite disgusting if you ask me. Draco doesn't care for me, he continues looking out the door into the dark hallway and seeing Snape standing. He clearly sensed something or someone with the way he was looking around. Draco then turned the lights off and stepped away from the door.

Once again we just stood there, not one word from either of us. My back was leaned against one wall while his was learned against the other. After a couple minutes I notice his shadow getting up to check the door again. He turns the lights back on. "He's gone let's go." He says leaving me behind.

Finally we made it back to my common room. We both stood in front looking down. His hands were in his front pockets of his black sweats. A dark gray crew neck on the top. He was truly beautiful. He sighed. "I gotta get going, don't speak of this to anyone." He says then walks past me heading back to his common room.
