Pick and Choose

Blackmail

"Um what's up?" He looks over at me and gulps.

I had to think about how I was going to word this first.  Should I work my way to it. I should I just go for it? "What's Alyssa using against you?" Great, so we're just gonna go for it I guess.

"I told you Cami, it's really not a big deal.  Just forget it please." I noticed him starting to get up.  He wasn't going to get away with leaving again.  "No." I say looking at him.  He's now standing up across from me right in front of the other couch. I could tell my reaction shocked him.

"What did you say?" He turns and looked still shocked.  This raged me. "I said no Louis now your going to tell me what is happening between you and this Alyssa girl or I'm gonna go ask her myself."  I snapped as I stood up to at least be a little closer to his level.  This wasn't much considering he's 6'0 and I'm 5'3.

"No Cami, you don't always need to know everything! If you want to be so nosy fine, go ask Alyssa yourself. It'll probably be better hearing it from her than me."  He then turns and leaves the common room.  He was mad. But almost as if it wasn't from me.  He seamed mad at himself.  Me and Louis haven't gotten in an argument since I was around 10 and it was because he stole my favorite toy. 

I stood there shocked just as he stood right before me moments ago.  Maybe that's what I should do. Go ask Alyssa myself. Or should I just stay out of it like he said?  I'll stay out of it for now. But I need to talk to this Alyssa girl about her wrong doing. 

Clearly she had to have a free period at this time since she was with Louis yesterday.  I just needed to find her before the period ended.  I realized the Gryffindor common room was my best guest.  Just as I was arriving I ran into Neville entering. 

"Neville!" I shouted running up the last flight of stairs to meet him.  "Hey Cami!" He stops to wait for me. 

"Hey Neville could you go see if Alyssa is in your common room for me?" I ask. 

"Oh ya I'll be right back." He says with a smile.  I could of went with him myself and looked but normally this time of day you shouldn't be in other common rooms unless your higher years with more privileges.  Moments later Alyssa pokes her head out. She smiles when she sees me and walks out to join me outside the door. 

"Hi Camila, you needed me?" He asks.

"Listen Alyssa, I know you have something against Louis that he clearly doesn't want anyone to know. Whatever it is is obviously stressing him out enough so I just wonder if you could drop it? And anyways, he's very happy with Isabella now." I say honestly quite terrified from her reaction. 

"Oh Cami, you have no clue what this little secret it don't you?" She questions me and I notice a smirk grow on her lips. 

"Well clearly no if I'm here asking you to drop it." I say crossing my arms. 

"Oh then I'll lay back for a while.  How about you let Louis know I won't tell anyone for now.  But I know the truth and if he ever wants to cross me again I won't hesitate to let you know right away."   Then she nods her head and returns to her common room. 

Bloody hell.  She's powerful.  Way more than I thought. And blackmail? You would think she's a Slytherin from how she uses people.  I was in utterly shock.  I returned to my common room and went straight to my room.

Soon the day ended and it was dinner time.  We all headed to the dining hall to eat.  As I entered with Lulu I noticed Cedric and Louis not sitting together like usual.  They were a couple seats away from each other which has only happened a couple times when they were mad.
