Anna's POV

"I'm already tired, Honey." I glared at Sev, my husband. "We had three rounds."

"I want to impregnate you immediately," he whispered along with a soft chuckle. "Pregnancy is risky at your age."

"Y-You want a child?"

"Of course." He flashed a smile to me after he wore his clothes. "So we can finally have a happy family."

I hugged him even if I was still naked. "We should do this every day then."

He smirked then kissed my forehead. "Nah. You also need rest because you're always busy. Some of your cases were hard these past few days."

I hugged him tightly. "Open the television, Honey. I want to watch."

He stood up to open the TV. While he's turning on the television, I can't help but stare at his lovely butt. I love to grab that booty while he's pounding hard inside me.

Hala! That's so bad!

He hugged me. We watched the news. My eyes widened in shock when I heard the news.

"A head was found in a lake just this afternoon along with a dead body in a boat."

"What?" My forehead creased. "Who the hell will do that?"

"World is fucked up, Honey. Watching the news is stressful." He turned the TV off and kissed my bare neck. "Let's just have our fourth round."

I hit his head using my hand, but it just made him laugh. "It's time for bed, Honey."

"Just one more round, please?" His eyes were twinkling, but I just shrugged.

I don't know what's with that news. I didn't even watch the whole news, but my senses were bothering me.

Xerine's POV

"La la la la la la~" I sang the beautiful melody of my song. "Open the door for a beautiful lady~"

I am walking on a busy street just looking at how people rush to their meetings and others. It's a very very good day since I'm planning to make this day a day for myself.

I hate the pollution, but it's boring to stay indoors. The vibes inside my company are annoying too. I just want to stroll and have some quality time with my fucking self.

I'm not going to kill anyone. I'm still in a broad daylight. Bitch, who's going to kill a person in the middle of this street?

I entered a bakery. The aroma of freshly baked goodies slapped my face. A chime also sounded so good as I opened the door.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am." A woman behind the counter said.

This is just a plain bakery. Few tables and they are not offering some drinks. But just looking at those pieces of bread and pastries makes me want to fill myself up with baking flour.

My eyes were locked on those bagels and croissants. Looks very delicious. Fuck, who cares about diet? Food is food. And this bakery also has many cactus as their display.

Those echeverias that I saw on the counter were looking fresh. Echeverias are small plants on a pot. They are very cute and they are space savers.

I walked until I was already in front of the counter. "Ten chocolate croissants and ten plain bagels."

"Right away, Ma'am."

She started putting the pieces of bread inside two brown paper bags. The scent of those pieces of bread makes me crave for a latte or maybe a black americano.

"Here you go, Ma'am," she said.

I handed her the money and said to keep the change. I hugged the brown paper bags like they are two precious diamonds that are going to be stolen by some jerk.

I went out of the bakery and started eating the bread. They are soft and well baked. The chocolate inside the croissant is not too much and not too little.

The bagels are crispy outside yet soft on the inside. This is heaven. If plants give me happiness, this gives me a total ecstasy.

I saw an empty bench. I sat there while happily eating each piece of bread that I bought. Maybe I should buy some iced coffee.

"Here's your coffee." I was shocked when a cup of coffee appeared in front of me.

The coffee looks so cold. I get the coffee without even looking at the person who gave it to me. I don't need to look either. Hearing his voice is already annoying. Seeing his face can also ruin my beautiful day.

"Xerine Delgado," he said my name in a deep baritone voice. "How have you been?"

I rolled my eyes as I took a sip from the iced coffee. I don't have any plans to talk to him. I just want a coffee.

"Xerine."

I glared at him. "Tangina. Can't you fucking see that I'm eating?"

I saw him stopping himself from laughing. I know that he will make fun of me when I cursed him in Tagalog, but he's annoying.

"Pay attention to me," he said in a softer tone. "We didn't get the chance to hang out for many years."

I finally looked at him. "Don't talk to me like we're close, Marcio."

He smiled. "You're still mad at me?"

"No," I said sarcastically. "I'm so happy to see you. I'm in awe to see the man who cheated on me. Great, isn't it?"

His mood changed. "I just want us to be fine again."

"Not gonna happen." I sipped on my coffee again after biting my bagel.

"You still love to eat bread." He changed the topic. "And when I saw you, I know that you need coffee."

"Thank you, then."

"Xerine," he called me. "Congrats to your company's success."

"Oum," I said lazily. "Are you done talking shits? I'm here to eat my bread but you keep on talking."

He scuffed and stood up. "Hope to see you again, Xerine."

"Okay. Now, leave. Do it fast."

I watched how he walked away. He's all grown up now. Taller and his aura is more powerful. He's handsome, of course. He will not be my ex-boyfriend if he is just no one.

But as I watch him walk away, the memories of the past are running on my vessels.

And one part of my mind thinks of having him as a fertilizer.
