"Y/n! Y/n, wake up!"

I'm hit with a sudden sense of deja vu as my eyes are forced open and my hammock violently rocks back and forth. Teresa stands over me with an aggravated expression, "What?" I ask her, "Is something wrong? What's going on?"

She rolls her eyes in return, "Everything's fine. We just have something to get to." I furrow my brows at her, "Like what?" She rolls her eyes again, "Just get your shoes on and let's go!"

Not wanting to argue any further, I throw my legs over the side of the hammock and begin to put on my shoes. What could possibly be this important? None of the boys seem to be making a commotion. I follow Teresa as she leads us to the middle of the open field where a boy, who is surprisingly younger than anyone here, stands waiting. "Finally!" The boy exclaims.

With the growing smile on his freckled face, I immediately sense his innocence, compared to the others, of course. He has brown curly hair and brown eyes. Wearing a cream-colored shirt with a brown vest over it, and tan cargo shorts.

"Ladies!" He begins, "My name is Chuck, and it's a pleasure to meet you both!" I smile at Chuck's introduction, for someone who appears so sweet and innocent, he sure does have a lot of confidence.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Chuck." Teresa begins with a smile on her face, but I choose to intervene before she can continue, "I'm Y/n, and this is Teresa."

Chuck smiles at the both of us, his dimples choosing to make an appearance as well. "You both have very beautiful names, but we should get along with the tour now."

"Wait, tour?" I question.

"Oh, did Teresa not tell you?" Chuck asks, now focusing his attention to Teresa. I look to her as well, my brows furrowed once again.

"Well, I told you we had something to get to!"

"Anyway," Chuck starts, "I've been assigned with giving you two a tour of the Glade!" So that's what they called this place.

"Now, if you will please follow me. I will be more than honored to show you our temporary home." My heart begins to hurt as Chuck happily turns around and starts the tour, he seems far too innocent for a place like this. Far too young.

After touring the Glade, we make a final stop next to one of the Glade's many ominous walls. This one. however, appears different than the rest.

This wall has a variety of names carved into it, some I'm already familiar with and some I'm not. I also take notice to how some of the names have been crossed out, which I assume can only mean one thing.

"This is the Wall of Names." Chuck introduces. "Well, I like to call it that at least."

I move forward and run my hand along the carved names in the wall, admiring each one and taking note of how many boys are trapped here as well.

"What's it for?" Teresa asks from behind me. "I'm actually not quite sure." Chuck says, "It was never really explained to me. But I like to see it as a sign of loyalty and trust, a sign that we will always protect each other, no matter what kind of situation we find ourselves in."

I smile at Chuck's explanation as my fingertips graze over one of the many crossed out names, Ben.

"And what about these names? The ones that are crossed out." I turn around to face them.

A solemn look appears on Chuck's face and I'm afraid that I've triggered something, "The Wall of Names is also used to remember," He pauses, "To remember those we've lost."
