"Y/n! Y/n, wake up!"
I'm hit with a sudden sense of deja vu as my eyes are forced open, my hammock is violently rocking back and forth and I sleepily try to balance myself. Teresa stands over me with an aggravated expression, "What?" I ask her, "Is something wrong? What's going on?"
She rolls her eyes in return, "Everything's fine, Y/n. But we do have something important to get to right now and I know that you wouldn't wanna miss this." I furrow my brows at her, "Important? How important?" She rolls her eyes once again at my question, "Just get your shoes on and let's go!"
Not wanting to argue any further, I throw my legs over the side of the hammock and begin to put on my shoes. Teresa leads us to the middle of the open field and we meet another boy, who is surprisingly younger than anyone here. "Finally!" The boy exclaims as he notices our arrival.
With the growing smile on his freckled face, I immediately sense the boy's innocence, compared to the others, of course. He has brown curly hair and brown eyes. Wearing a cream-colored shirt with an orange vest over it, and tan cargo shorts.
"Ladies!" He begins, "My name is Chuck, and it's a pleasure to meet you both!" I smile at Chuck's introduction, for someone who appears so sweet and innocent, he sure does have a lot of confidence.
"It is a pleasure to meet you too Chuck." Teresa begins with a smile on her face, but I choose to intervene before she can continue, "I'm Y/n, and this is Teresa."
Chuck smiles at the both of us, his dimples choosing to make an appearance as well. "You both have very beautiful names, but we should get along with the tour now."
"Wait, tour?" I question.
"Oh, did Teresa not tell you?" Chuck asks, now focusing his attention to Teresa. I look to her as well, my brows furrowed once again.
"Well, I told you we had something important to attend to!" She defends, and I roll my eyes.
"Anyway," Chuck starts, "I've been assigned with giving you two a tour of the Glade!" So that's what they called this place.
"Now, if you will please follow me. I will be more than honored to show you my temporary home." Yeah, I believe Chuck is far too innocent for a place like this.

I'm not sure how much time has passed since the tour began, but we are currently stopped next to one of the many walls surrounding the Glade. This one. however, is different than the rest.
The wall holds names, some I'm already familiar with and some I'm not. I also take notice to how some of the names have been crossed out, which I'm already assuming means one thing.
"This is the Wall of Names." Chuck introduces. "Well, I like to call it that at least."
I move forward and run my hand along the carved names in the wall, admiring each one and seeing how many others are trapped here as well.
"What's it for?" Teresa asks from behind me. "I'm actually not quite sure." Chuck says, "It was never really explained to me. But I like to see it as a sign of loyalty and trust, a sign that we will always protect each other, no matter what kind of situation we find ourselves in."
I smile at Chuck's explanation as my fingertips graze over one of the many crossed out names, Ben.
"And what about these names? The ones that are crossed out." I turn around to face them.
A disappointing look appears on Chuck's face and I'm afraid that I've triggered something,
"The Wall of Names has another purpose, one of them being a memorial."
