Amity had a terrible day.
First she was blamed for starting a fight again when in all honesty she hadn't, and secondly, the principal got cornered by her parents again.
Well, she didn't mind her parents getting overprotective of her, she enjoyed that. Warmth and care.
"Mom?" Amity called out after the yelling ceased inside the office.
Odalia came back out with Alador and smiled.
"It's alright, sweetheart." Alador said while patting Amity's head.
"Yes, dear, it's ok." Odalia chimed.
Amity sat there with a grin as she asked, "what were you three yelling about this time..?"
Alador sighed.
"It's a little irritating getting dragged out of my work to resolve useless things that aren't your fault, the school wants to expell you." He said.
Amity huffed.
"And..?" She asked.
"Well, we tried solving the problem but all that he said was either to send you to a camp or not, clearly the whole neighborhood of parents think it's your fault because your a popular child icon." Odalia scoffed.
Amity shrugged before suggesting, "if it makes you feel better, I'll go to the camp!"
"What!? No, we can send you to a different school! How about close to the twins?? They'd love to take you home every afternoon for sure." Alador said.
Amity laughed.
"It was just a suggestion, and I might just bother the twins about that so I'll go to camp..." She said.
Odalia frowned and asked, "are you sure?"
"Yeah and you two can have some alone time to catch up on dinner dates just like what you two talk about in every dinner, and if you really don't want me to be on my own, you might as well send the twins along with me..." Amity said after nodding.
Her parents smiled lightly.
"That's true." Odalia sighed.
"C'mon, please?? I've never seen a camp that's not too expensive like last time before..." Amity said as she stood up and clung to her mother.
Odalia gave in patting her head.
"Alright, we'll send you to camp." She agreed.
Amity cheered in succession.
...
Amity stretched a bit before perking up when she heard another car get in through the gates. Peeking through the large windows, it was the twins.
She smiled and hid behind the couch.
As soon as the door opened, Edric immediately huffed and let himself fall to the couch.
"What a day!!" He heaved.
"Don't relax just yet, bro, we have homework y'now!" Emira said as she pulled a box of biscuits from the cupboard.
Edric groaned in exasperation before crying out, "but I'm tired..!"
"Yeah, and you're making it look like Amity has it easier!" Emira scoffed as she sat down beside her twin offering the box.
Edric grumbled and took a piece.
"Well, it's not like we have it easy too. I know Amity's getting blamed at stuff that isn't her fault and the whole internet fandom about her is getting pissed by the fake accusations towards her... Honestly, her fanbase is really big it's a little scary." He said.
"And besides, I'm worried too, not just as a loyal fan of her fanbase just like how she is to us, but as an older responsible brother." He muttered.
Emira frowned.
"Yeah." She sighed.
"Aw, the twins are worrying for me?? That's so sweet~!"
The twins shot up when Amity suddenly appeared between them.
