George tapped his pencil on his desk absentmindedly. Warm beams of sun casted down on him through the window. The friday afternoon's clear sky stretched out for miles. Though George didn't pay attention to it, his mind was on a certain someone.
Clay had been slightly avoiding him all week. Whenever it was just the two of them, Clay made a lame excuse to leave. George sighed softly and looked over to where the blonde sat.
George met that same green gaze as his face began to tingle. Though before George could do anything, Clay quickly glanced away. George was slightly shocked at how fast the blonde looked away. He put his head in his palm and returned his attention to class.
The bell rang shortly after and George shot out of his seat to leave the classroom. Nick was waiting for him outside of the class.
"George," Nick greeted when George left the classroom. "I'm going to give you a ride to my house."
Suddenly an arm wrapped around George. His skin tingled at the warm feeling. He glanced up to see Clay. "Actually I'm giving him a ride."
"I'm sure you are," Crow snickered as she left the classroom, not looking up from her phone. She walked past them and dragged a snickering Nick with her. "We'll wait for you love birds in the parking lot."
"That's," Clay said to George as Nick and Crow walked away, "Is not what I meant." George snickered at him before removing Clay's arm and following Crow and Nick towards the parking lot.
"Whatever you say Clay," George teased.
The sun was bright outside, causing George to squint. There was a soft warm breeze and Crow and Nick were talking by the cars. As George drew closer their conversation stopped.
"So guys," George said breaking the silence. "Who's driving with who?"
"You mean who's ridin-" Crow whacked Nick and Nick shutted up. He rubbed his arm like she actually hurt him.
"Nick, you're going alone," Crow yawned at him, "I wanna drive with George and Clay, I want in on some tea."
"You guys are so stupid." George laughed.
"You always do this to me." Nick sighs dramatically, "You never hang out with me anymore." Nick pouted playfully but Crow rolled her eyes and walked away. George laughed at their stupidity. "Rude"
"Please don't leave me with this dimwit." Crow said in a loud whisper and pointed towards Nick, Nick just laughed and shook his head disappointedly. "I'm driving," Crow grinned.
"No," Clay said. "You are not driving."
"What?"
"You're not driving."
"Why can't I drive?" Crow huffed.
"Because I said so."
"Get in shotgun," Crow whispered to George, despite knowing Clay could hear her. Clay hid his confused look. George looked up at Crow and gave her a confused look. Though he did what he was told and sat in the expensive car.
George watched Crow swiftly get into the driver's seat. She winked at George and motioned to put his seat belt. George put the hot seat belt on with confusement.
"Get out of the car," Clay sighed.
"Hasta la vista mi amigo," Crow smirked wickedly to Clay. She slammed the car door shut and George gave a slight flinch at the sudden noise. The car started going in reverse.
