When she had first spoke up, he thought he was dreaming. But to his fortune, his friend Crow was walking over to him. George wondered how she found him so quickly but shrugged it off because that didn't matter right now.

The flickering street lamps casted a glow on her features and George could see dampened hair in the light. Her was walking towards him and there was a smile plastered on her face. She broke out in a soft sprint until she reached George.

"Hey." George started.

"Hey George." She grinned and waited for him to ask his first question. "What do you want to know first?"

"Crow." George said shaking his head and Crow started to look confused. "A lot of things happened when you were gone. I know about vampires. I know that you're a vampire."

There was a silence that passed. George thought that she might become angry or upset but she just hummed. She glanced around quickly and nodded her head causally.

"I knew you would." Crow nodded like this was no big deal.

"And now I need a lot of answers for all my questions." George told her.

"I'm sure you do." Crow nodded again.

"My first question; How does being a vampire work?"

"It kind of depends," Crow started. "If you get turned into a vampire you just stop ageing and get super abilities. Like super strength or speed. But if you're born a vampire, you're a pure blood and you're more powerful and you just eventually stop ageing."

"Which one are you?" George asked.

"Clay, Ryan and I are purebloods." Crow shrugged, before grinning, "It's kind of a big deal, not many purebloods in this world anymore."

"Okay," George nodded, taking this information in. "What about food and blood, how does that work?"

"Vampire live off blood, if we don't eat it we grow weak and become very bloodthirsty. Purebloods will decay without blood, though we won't die but normal vampires will die." Crow said and George nodded a little terrified. "Human food can kill vampires if they eat too much, as if they were allergic. But purebloods will just feel horrible until the food they ate is gone.

"Wait a minute." George said. "Didn't you eat food at Nick's? Why would you do that?"

"I was hungry, like blood hungry." Crow cringed, but added with a laugh "And it was a better option than eating you guys."

"Oh um." George coughed. "Do vampires just bite people?"

"Basically." Crow grimaced. "I mean it doesn't really harm the person they bit permanently. Some have even said it feels good, which I don't understand."

"Does Nick know?"

"Yes."

"Okay another question." George said. "What's it like for a vampire when they bite someone?"

"Depends." Crow shrugged. "I wouldn't know."

"You've never bit anyone?" George asked, slightly surprised.

"Same with Clay." Crow explained. "Pureblood vampires have very little control when they're young. Clay and I would never put someone in danger like that."

"Oh." George nodded then he narrowed his eyes. "How old are you guys? I mean you are immortal."

"347" Crow said without hesitation.

"Wait really?"

"No dummy." Crow laughed. "I turned 17 like three weeks ago. Clay turned 17 a few months ago as well."

"Oh okay." George laughed in relief but felt a little stupid that he fell for that. "Last question, I've been wondering this for awhile. Why does Clay want to bite me."

"Well where do I start." Crow sighed. "When a vampire falls in love with a human-"

"Clay is in love with me?" George asked shocked.

"Would you let me finish?" Crow rolled her eyes playfully. "When a vampire falls in love with a human, the vampire has this thirst for their blood. It keeps getting worse until that vampire bites that human."

"So that's why I'm in 'danger'" George said, "So Clay has to bite me then."

"Yeah."

"Alright, where is he?" George asked.

"You're just going to let an unstable, bloodthirsty vampire bite you?" Crow asked. "Are you trying to die or something."

"I trust Clay." George said firmly. "I think I'm in love with him too. Plus doesn't it hurt a vampire to want blood that badly?"

"Yeah." Crow said looking away. "I suppose it is mentally and physically exhausting."

"Crow do you.." George trailed off and realized she was looking in the direction of Nick's house. He fell quiet, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable.

"Sorry." She said looking back at him, snapping back into reality. "But if you're going to be bitten by a vampire. At least know the risks."

"Okay." George agreed.

"One, Clay might drink too much on accident and you might die. Two, he might accidently release a chemical that can make you forget today or make you forget Clay." Crow said and George grimaced at the idea of forgetting Clay. "Lastly, Clay might accidently release a chemical that makes you a vampire. That I highly doubt. Vampires already have trouble doing that on purpose."

"Looks like the odds are in my favor." George laughed nervously.

"I believe it could work." Crow mumbled.

"I need to find him right now then." George said.

"Then go to him." Crow grinned. "I think I know where he is. Luckily it's in walking distance."
