-Michael's POV
"It's okay-" I cut myself off once I see what's in her hand.
My phone
"Why do you have my phone?"
"It didn't stop ringing so I grabbed it to shut it off"
"Can I have it back?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"Because-"
"Michael Gordon Clifford what the hell are you hiding from me?" Her eyes ignite with anger and she turns on the phone
"Stop Rose" I ask her, more so pleaded
"What could be so bad that you are so scared of me finding out?"
"I'm sorry" I say sadly, my eyes glazing over with tears

Her eyes go wide as she goes through my messages and reads every last bit
"Who the hell is Acacia? And why was she texting you?"
She scrolls down further and begins to cry
"What the hell Mikey! What is this?" She says pointing to the messages of I love you's between me and Acacia
"B-baby I can explain" I tell her? Trying to grab her shoulders to calm her down
"DONT TOUCH ME," she screams
"Baby-"
"Don't call me that and get out of my house right now"
"Rose-"
"You can come back for all of your shit in the morning" she tries to be strong but I can see in her eyes what she saw had torn a hole in her heart
"Don't do this- what about us?"
"There is no us" she says and than shoved me out of the room
She slams the door shut and I just stay here. I hear her sobs fill the room and it hurts because I caused her this immense pain
All because of another girl that I don't even love

Why?
Why must I love him
Why did he do this?
Was I not enough? Not worth it?
What does she have that I don't?
Questions flood my mind and tears fill my eyes.
Why must everything I love hurt me?
