“What?” Karen asked confused
“Are you nuts?” David asked her
“We don’t have money for a party!” He added
“What party?” Karen asked confused
“The party you were posting,” Allison told her and gave her phone to show her
She saw that Ike and Tricia started posting about a huge get together about the Popular app celebration party, Talking about having tons of food, drinks, and how big of a deal they were gonna make at the party.
“I fucking hate my friends” Tricia moaned annoyed
“I’m sorry, We had kind of a fight and they probably did this to piss me off” Karen explained
“That doesn’t matter Mkay, People expect a party Mkay, and we don’t have any money in the budget” Mr. Mackey explained
“Yeah, Karen you have to do something about everything,” David told him
“Okay, Okay, relax we can find something to do something, David, how much money are we working with?” Karen asked him
“Like maybe, 2,000 dollars, That will probably pay for catering” David shrugged
“Okay Crystal, You have two hundred dollars to make flyers, bracelets, and other shit like that” Karen told her
“Oh okay” Crystal shrugged awkwardly
“Allison I want you to take pictures of anything that would interest people,” Karen told her
“Oh okay” Allison agreed
“Mr. Mackey make an announcement this party is happening,” Karen told him
The teachers looked at each other and agreed, They all walked out leaving the kids alone, While David was busy making calls and crushing numbers and Crystal started making custom flyers.
Karen started googling to see what she could do to make the party fun and look nice, After seeing some DIY stuff to do she decided to take matters into her own hands and realized she was gonna need more people so she walked to the art class to have a talk with the teacher.
“Msr. Streibel, I have to talk to you” Karen told her while her students were making their projects
“Hello, Karen what do you need?” Mrs. Streibel asked
“Well I’m planning a party but we’re low on supplies so I was wondering if some of your best students could help us, As maybe an extra credit project?” Karen suggested
“Oh we would love to help but I don’t know” Mrs. Streibel explained
“I understand but I think I can help you benefit from this” Karen smiled
“Oh yeah?” Mrs. Streibel chuckled humoring her
“Your husband birthday this Friday” Karen smirked
“Yeah?” Mrs. Streibel told her surprised she knew
“But you have to work,” Karen said
“Unfortunately” Mrs. Streibel sighed sadly
“Well if they were with me, Principal PC will be here and you’ll have the whole day off, and I can get my party decorations” Karen smiled
“Huh” Mrs. Streibel smirked
“Just a thought” Karen smirked and walked out, She looked through the window and saw her change her lesson plan
Karen smiled and started posting confirming the party with a smile spread across her face.
“This will be great,” Karen told herself scrolling through her phone and reading the comments about people being so excited for the party that she was suddenly planning.
