Chapter 28: A new point of view on life

Gearing up, I tied my hair and put my cloak on, stepping out of the female changing room a rush of adrenanline over powerd my body. Walking down to the team entrance I was engulfed into a powerful team hug.

"SLYTHERIN!" the team roared as we prepared for metaphorical battle. I mounted my broom and kicked off as the light of the stadium hit my eyes. Flying round my blood started pumping faster in preperation to play.

I flew over the crowd wind lapping against my face, the cool winter breeze chilling my bones as I climbed to seekers starting postion.

The whilst blew and the teams flew into action, dived and ducked avoiding the bludgers being sent my way from the opposition.

400 points to 200 we were up as a glint of gold caught my eye, I kept to tactics and flew away from the snitch in an effect to lead of the opposing seeker. I dodged and duved over head of the crowd and kept going until I almost hit the stands before pulling up.

The other seeker crashed into the stand with an almighty boom, sending him tumbling into the grass below.

I hovered paitently looking for sign of our key to victory. The golden glint caught my eye again and I chased the little devil with all my might.

I weaved past an oncoming bludger and as the snitch was by the ends of my finger tips I leaped into the air catching the snitch before gracefully being reunited with my broom. The Slytherin side of the stand went ballistic as we had won, I landed only to be lifted by the team and carried to the back entrance of the stadium where I was safely deposited back onto the ground.

I whipped my head round as I heard a faint yell, Draco charged at me before lifting me uo and spinning my body round entangling his lips with mine, "I better train up, looks like I could be put into forced retirment because of the way you played." He said setting me down, "I might have to agree with that Draco, she did play exceptionally, allow me to introduce my self Miss Autumn

I am Lucius Malfoy, Dracos father." he outstreched his hand and I took it shaking it.

"Thank you sir, I do try my best." I replied graciously, inside I'm shaking like a small dog. "My pleasure, it certainly was entertaining when you sent that wretched fool crashing into the stands" he chuckled, "Well I must be off, pleasure meeting you Miss Autumn and Draco remember what I told you"

Draco nodded as his father apparated from the school, "That wasnt painstakingly ba now was it?" Draco saud turning to me putting his hands round my waist. "I've never been so terrified before" I answered in all honesty.

"Did I tell you I found it extremly attractive when you misled the other seeker." he whispered in my ear leaving a trail of kisses up my neck and along my jaw line up to my lips, "I love you Sky" He said, my heart started beating faster as the wrods left his mouth, "I love you too Draco" his face lit up, he grabbed my face and kissed me again until we broke apart smiling and laughing.

He reunited his arm with my waist and we walked back up to school in a comfortable silence and the butter sweet breeze brushed against my rosey cheeks.

As we entred the silver black snd green common room we parted our ways to change, I put on a pair of lushiously dark blue skinny jeans and a green and silver jumper with my white faux fur waist coat, uggs and the bracelet that Draco got me for my birthday.

I walked gentley down the large stairs to the empty common room lightly lit by the gentle glow of a small number of gentley roaring flames shaped by the beautiful silver outlined black marble fire place.

My eyes focused them selves on the gentley dancing flame tips saying to and fro to the beat of silence that cascaded throught the room. My eyes studied the flames as I felt hot breathe travel down my neck sending goose bumps over my skin.

"Time to meet Alexis" the extremly famialliar deep sound of my boyfriends voice echoed throught the rooms, I stood up and entwined our fingers as we left briskly.

Entering the library we retreated ti the back where Alexis was sat patiently, I took a seat and Draco lounged back into his throwing his hands behind his tousled hair.

We started chatting about quidditch and how myslef and Draco hope that we slaughter Gryffindor. As he laughed he kissed my cheek making me blush, Alexis' body language suddenly changed and she made some excuse for leaving.

Draco pulled my chair closer to his, giving up he patted his knee and I obliged, "Am I not heavy?" I ask, every other persons knee I'be sat on normally complain and push me off, "Nope, as light as a feather" he smiled kissing my cheek again, he started twirlinh small strands of my hair in his hands, I simply scanned the isle of books until the sound of approaching heels broke me out of my trance and I knocked my wand off the table, I hopped off of Draco's knee and picked it up.

I rose my head to be greeted by yhe presence of Professor McGonnogal, "Miss Autumn, Mr Malfoy, if you would be so kind but to follow me, your prensence infront of the headmaster is wished." she said sternly, she swiflty turned abd marched along the corridor with myself at her side and Draco hot on our heels, "Peach Whizzbangs"she said and the stair case unfolded, I followed her briskly, almost standing on her heels, we were escorted in and the mumblings if portraits of old HeadMasters and HeasMistresses rung through my ears, "Aahh, Skylar please take a seat" he said, I did as I was told and sat on the large mahogonany chair, "Sherbet Lemon?" he offered "No thank you" I declined.

He looked up at me threw his half moon specticles with the tips of his eyes peeping out a kind smile on his face exiting as he began speaking. "Skylar, I'm affraid to bear terrible news, youre father has been involved in a attack at the minstery, a chinese firebolt that was recently taken in, started destroying things and setring alight to anything in its room, youre father included, I'm sorry to say he is in St.Mungos under intensive care, where of wgich we do not know he will return or not" my eyes dripped of tears and I started sobbing, I want to see him, I HAVE to see him. "Can I see him" I ask tears still falling from my eyes.

"Yes, I shall acompany you to the hospital, via the floo network" He said, I nodded "C-can Draco come" I asked, I want him with me, I need someone, "If you wish, now if you would ever be so kind but to steo into the fireplace."

With a puff of green smoke we appeared inside the white halls of St.Mungos.

-Draco-

Skylar ran to the side of the bed of a cindered man, of the skin he had left it was burnt and peeling, flesh wounds that bound to his skin revealed small patches of bone.

Skylar started singing lightly to him, making my heart melt into a molten substance that went out to her during her pain.

"I love you Daddy, dont leave me, I dont want you not here, I want you to walk me down the isle on the day of my wedding and crack rubbish jokes about muggles, I want you to be there when I get my first job, I dont want you to leave me daddy, I need you, please dont go, I love you too much" thats when I cracked as she poured her heart out.

The machines attached kept a steady pace, I cried silently to my self at the pain she was in, it feels like a bit of my heart has been tor out and my chest hurts watching her cry, knowing I cant do anything to help, I am renderred powerless unable to help the girl I love.

And for once I feel vaunrable.
