During breakfast next morning, Y/n questioned Mrs. Grose for any information she might have.
"Mrs. Grose, has anything 'tragic' happened at the estate?"
"No?  Why are you asking such questions.  This house has been in the Fairchild family for many generations and has been well taken care of."
"I was just trying to piece something together."
"And what may that be?"
"Well.. Miles has been acting a bit off.  I just wanted to know if maybe anything happened to him when he was younger?  Or maybe recently."
"Besides his parents passing away, no. If you want, there are photos and video films of him and Flora.  They're in the basement. However, he might just be lonely."
"Okay, thanks Mrs. Grose."
As Y/n finished up her breakfast, she soon left the kitchen.  And for some reason when her back was turned, Mrs. Grose's facial expression changed drastically.  She looked a bit concerned, but at the same time, very stern?

y/n's pov

After I'd left the kitchen, I was headed to the basement.  This all started when we went in the basement in the first place.  The baby pictures.  That's when Miles.. stopped acting like Miles. It could've been a trigger.  As I was walking down the basement stairs, my surroundings were getting darker, and darker.  I turned on my flashlight and noticed that the baby pictures were gone.  I continued to walk deeper in the basement.
"Looking for something?"  A voice asked that echoed.
I turned around and saw a figure in the distance.
"Miles?" I called out.
"Looking for this?" The person asked holding a baby photo of Miles.
I ran to the figure positive it was Miles and reached out to hug him. Hesitantly, he put his arms out to hug back. It indeed, was Miles.
"I'm sorry," Miles said dropping the baby photo.
"What are you sorry for?" I asked.
"For this," Miles answered slamming my head on the wall.
