yoongi and hoseok had met in middle school. at first yoongi thought hoseok was a loud obnoxious boy and hoseok thought that yoongi was a cold hearted mean boy, they never expected them to ever become friends but after being paired up together things...
it was lunch time now and hoseok wasn't angry or jealous anymore but rather sad. he knew the older liked him but it still hurt to see the boy he loved be with a pretty girl and even made the effort in compromising with her rather then breaking up with her as he would with everyone else who made him uncomfortable. hoseok soon started doubting that the older actually liked him back. maybe i was crushing so hard on him that i convinced myself i actually have a shot with him and that he likes me back in the same way.. hoseok thought sadly as he looked down at his food in distaste, something he rarely ever did with food.
jin immediately noticed the change of mood just like yesterday but noticed his aura wasnt like yesterday's but was rather a sad aura. hoseok looked up and made eye contact with the eldest. hoseok could see the concern in jins eyes and hoseok decided to hint towards jin to come with him to the bathroom. "hey guys.. sorry to leave during the middle of lunch but i have to go to the bathroom" hoseok said as he got up, looking at jin one more time and seeing him nod. soon hoseok left and went into the bathroom, waiting for jin to come in as well.
after about three minutes, seokjin got up himself using the excuse that he had to turn in some work before he forgot to and ran into the bathroom that he knew hoseok was at. "hobi baby?" jin asked as he came in, looking at hoseok who looked as if he was holding back tears. seeing the younger in this state, jin immediately pulled him into a hug which only caused for hoseok to burst into tears, sobbing quietly as he let his thoughts cloud his brain and forgetting the truth that yoongi really did like the younger back. seokjin just rubbed the others back softly while saying soft words to him. "shh it's okay baby, i know.. just let it all out. don't hold back okay? if you don't want to talk about it and would rather just cry, then do so and if you want to talk about it, i'll listen.. okay baby?" hoseok just nods as his face nuzzles more into seokjin's neck and hugging onto the older like his life depended on it.
after a while, hoseok finally calmed down and was letting out more calming breathes. his face was tear stained and red, his eyes being slightly puffy and his lips formed into a pout. seokjin looked heartbroken seeing the younger in this state especially since hoseok was always so happy and seeing him so down like this was rare. "h-hyung.. yoongi h-hyung texted me last night a-about kwan.. his g-girlfriend... i told him that he should d-decide himself in what happens b-between the two of them and i also t-told him what k-kwan told me... for a b-bit, it sounded like yoongi hyung w-was going to b-break up with the girl but i guess n-not because this morning when i was h-heading to my first class, i saw t-them hugging a-and... and y-yoongi had a s-smile on his face as they hugged and s-she had a bright s-smile... i-i should be happy for t-them but it h-hurts hyung... i feel like he r-really doesn't have the same fafeelings for me as i-i do for him... what if it was just me m-making it up in my head so i could have h-hope that the boy i l-love with everything i have and has l-loved for the past several y-years could actually want to b-be with me.." hoseok was on the verge of tears again and the hurt in his voice was so hard to hear for seokjin but he knew he had to protect his babie hobi and had to remind him that yoongi really does like him back.
jin looked hobi in the eyes and smiled softly, then pecked his forehead softly and rubbing his back again. "baby, it's okay. i know it seems that yoongi doesn't like you back but he does. you know i wouldn't lie about this and neither would any of the rest of our friends. yoongi is just being the dumbass he is and not realizing his feelings for an amazing, beautiful, perfect baby named jung hoseok!" seokjin smiles and then booped hoseoks nose with his finger making hoseok giggle. there's my happy babie jin thought as he saw hoseoks face start to brighten up again. "oh my GOD!! my baby hobi giggled!! he's so cute!" jin stated extra dramatically which resorted in a giggling and smiling hoseok as he watched his hyung.
"wAIt! i have an idea! what if just us two go out to eat ice cream? we haven't hung out with just the two of us in forever" the older whined as he looked at hoseok with a pout. "we wouldn't have to worry about boyfriends or crushes or anything! we could have fun and then go shopping! i want to shop with you again" seokjin said excitedly as he looked at hoseok only to see the younger filled with the same excitement that his hyung carried.
"LETS DO IT!! we can meet up near the gate after our last class ends so that way we can sneak off without any of our friends" hoseok giggled as he looked at jin.
"hobi baby, you're brilliant. plus after we are done we can rub it in their faces and post on ig saying we went on a friend date to get ice cream!" jin said and then smiled evilly but the younger found it funny. hoseok nodded at the idea and then they walked out of the bathroom together. they went back over to their friends and ended up in them just cuddling with each other as the others had fights about who was stealing whos fries and yelling at them to get their own food. hoseok couldn't help but smile at his friends as he watched them. yoongi was with them as well but was too busy playing on his phone to really be paying attention to his friend group.
"yoongi hyung?" hoseok asked trying to get yoongis attention and yoongi immediately took his attention off from his phone and looked at hoseok. "where's your girlfriend?" the younger asked, simply out of curiosity. at first yoongi was confused then remembered that hoseok was asking about kwan.
"she said she was going to eat lunch with her friends that way i could spend time with you guys and not drift away from any of you guys." yoongi shrugged after saying so and went back to his phone. the younger who asked yoongi this question only slightly rolled his eyes. not like you're really paying attention or spending time with us when you are just on your phone. hoseok thought sassily. it wasn't that hoseok was mad but he was really sassy in general.

hiyo! hope you enjoyed this chapter or whatever you call this lol anyways i'm thinking abt making this book twenty to thirty parts. for me personally, i don't like reading long ff's mainly cause i have no attention span- also kinda thinking abt adding in a bit of drama into this cause hehehehehehe yes- one last thing. i'm gonna ask my parents for this shirt for christmas :) hopefully my parents will agree to buy it :( does anyone else listen to conan?
