Chapter 35

John POV

*the next day*

Me Laf and Peggy spend the night just doing random things and get back to my place around 7am and Alex is the only one up.

"Where were y'all?" He asks when we walk in.

"No where specific." Laf says.

Me Peggy and laf try to go back to sleep on the couch cuz we're tired as fuck but almost as soon as we do everyone wakes up and decides to be loud.

"Omg Laf why are you up early?" Here exclaims when he sees Laf awake.

"Cuz they only just got back" Alex says.

"Yep and I'm going to bed" I say and walk into my room.

"Fuck it I'm coming too y'all too loud" Peggy follows me.

"Same" Laf also follows.

I fall on the bed and put a pillow over my head. Peggy falls next to me and laf next to her.

Philip POV

*a couple hours later*

Me and George arrive back at our dorm room around 1pm. "I miss Paris" George sighs, sitting on the couch.

"Same, hey I'm gonna go over too my dads places they said to see them when we get back you wanna come?" I ask.

"Nah I'm good, I'll probably go see my parents as well" he replies. I nod and walk out.

When I arrive at their house I have a key so I just walk into find everyone except dad, Laf and Peggy "Oh hey guys" I smile.

"Hey Pip I didn't know you were coming over today" Pa says looking up from his laptop.

"Yeah I wasn't gonna but we just got back a little earlier so I decided to come by. Where's dad Laf and Peggy?" I ask

"Uh I think Peggy's awake in ya parents room" Maria says. I walk into Pa and dads room and see Peggy in the middle of Dad and Laf who are both asleep but Peggy's just on her phone but looks like she just woke up.

"Hey Pegs why are Dad and Laf asleep and why are you all in the same bed? " I ask and she looks up and smiles.

"Hey Pip, we went out last night at like 2 and got back at 7 and by then everyone else was awake but we were tied so we all slept in here." She explains and almost at the same time Dad and Laf wake up.

"Ah fuck how long have you been standing there?!" Laf asks in a heavier accent than usual cuz he just woke up I assume.

"Like a minute" I reply and he just puts a pillow over his head.

"Ah shit turn off the light" Dad groans

"It's like 2pm y'all can sleep later!" I walk out leaving the door open and light on, man I don't think they'll ever be responsible adults.

"Fuck you Philip!"Laf yells.

"So how was Paris?" Herc says very loudly.

"Quoi?!" Laf basically screams and walks out. "When did you go to Paris?" He asks

"I went there for my honeymoon with George... you were at the wedding, where did you think I was for 3 weeks?" I ask.

"Oh yeah I forgot about that" I roll my eyes  "where did ya go when you were there?"

"I dunno a bunch of places" reply.

"Wow very specific" he says sarcastically.

"You wanna know so much just fucking go back" I say and he kinda just looks down nervously then shakes his head and looks back up.

"Bruh I don't have fucking rich parents" he says.

"Fuck off" dad says walking out and slapping the back of Laf's head.

After about 2 hours I go back home and George must still be at his parents out so I just watch TV until he gets home.

*1 year later*
John POV

Philip and George graduated 2 months ago and moved into they're apartment. Apparently Lin And Peter are engaged and Laf's mad about it cuz he hates Jefferson.

It's about 10:30pm when the movie me and Alex are watching finishes. "I'm gonna go take a shower." He gets up and walks to the bathroom.

How did I manage to marry someone as amazing as him? I used to think No one would ever love me as much I love them but then I met him at it just feels right.

In college there were times I didn't think we'd work out but we did, and if we didn't I don't think either of us would be alive right now but it ended perfectly. We have an amazing kid and both have Great jobs. We're both finally happy.

I get up and walk into our room. After a couple of minutes Alex walks into the room only wearing boxers. "You're beautiful" I say and he smiles and walks over to me.

"You're beautiful too" he says straddling me and kissing me lightly.

"I love you" I smile

"I love you too" he replies

"It just feels so right to say"

"It's easy to say to you, I love you. You're right it just feels like it belongs, and that I belong with you"

"I feel the exact same way." he smiles. "Im so lucky holy shit your so amazing"

"You think your lucky? I'm the lucky one" he smiles and shakes his head.

"This is perfect. Your perfect." I put my arms around his waist.

"You know where I come from some people don't even live til 20 and in those years they're poor and don't have family. You changed all of that for me. Your the reason I'm still alive and the reason I want to stay alive" he rests his arms on my shoulder.

"Promise we'll stay like this forever, like nothing ever went wrong, like nothing ever will go wrong?"

"I promise"
