Chapter 3: The Mariana Trench

As you know the Mariana Trench is the deepest place on earth, but the question is, what lies at the depths of the Mariana Trench? As you can see the ancient Shnaks have interrupted our mission to uncover the trident.

The Shnaks charged forward towards us. When we were near the Shnaks, we did a side flip and attacked the snakes. The Shnaks agility was still there. They flipped forward and turned behind. Their jaws opened and went straight for us. Technically, all 10 Shnaks surrounded us like a ball so, we have nowhere to go. As they got closer, I thought of an idea.

"Computer, magnetize everyone's jet pods together," I said.

"Affirmative," said the computer in my helmet.

Our jet pods magnetized together back to back.

"Mike, what are you doing?" asked Ivy.

"Defensive maneuver," I said.

"What is that?" asked Jim.

"Dude, are you serious?" asked Jack.

"He pretty much is," said Valentina.

"Not funny, guys," he replied. "What is it really, Mike?"

"You'll see," I replied.

When the Shnaks got closer, I said, "Computer, initiate defensive maneuver. Guys, hold on to your weapon and defend yourselves."

We started spinning around because of the program I put into the jet pods.

We defended ourselves by kicking and hurting the Shanks. I managed to stab one in the chest. One down, nine to go.

"Computer, demagnetize and shoot us forward," I said.

"Affirmative, Mike," the computer said.

We demagnetized and shot forward destroying the formation of the Shnaks. They scattered and attacked us separately. I got three on my tail, one on Jim, two on Ivy, one on Jack, one on Valentina and another one on Sarah. I have no idea why I got the most. Anyways, I stopped flying forward while two Shnaks stopped but one stopped late. I stabbed it in the chest and released the dracyonium energy exploding the Shnak. The other two was furious and went after me. I just stood there in the water and my left hand summoned my dracyo sword. I spin my swords around and flew towards them. They saw it and dodged it, but I kicked them in the gut. They went back and decided to eat me. They opened their jaws wide and swam towards me. I summoned my cannon and shot one of their mouth. One of the Shnak exploded into dust. The other Shnak flinched and was frightened. It called the others to fall back. They got the message and fall backed. We regrouped.

"Dude, what now?" asked Jack.

"Since the mayor knows, let's play smart," I said.

"Which is?" asked Sarah.

"I will summon my clones to dive down while we dive down cloaked," I said.

"If they smell us?" asked Ivy.

"Oh, don't worry, I've got an idea," I replied.

We continued to dive cloaked and our diving suits have the strong odors of cinnamon. I summoned my clones. The clones that I summoned are all my five friends and me. We dived down fast because we don't the Shnaks to intervene us. At the end, the Shnaks came. Now, there were six of them left. I killed two while Jack killed one.

They swooped down and used their jaws to eat the clones. The clones were eaten and the Shnaks thought that we were dead. They continued to dive down but as they got deeper, they started to slow down. They are different form normal sea snakes. They can dive up to 10,000 feet while the Mariana Trench is 36,201 feet deep. Since we have been diving very fast, we just reached 10,000 feet. Suddenly, there was a vortex pulling us and the Shnaks to the depths of the Mariana Trench.

"Guys, slow down!" I shouted.

They slowed down as the Shnaks did the same too. Slowly, the vortex pulled us not to the bottom of the Mariana Trench but to another dimension. We were still in the water and I sensed something. I turned back and a Shnak was just in front of me. That gave me a fright. It didn't saw me. My sword was still in my hand and I sliced the Shnak. After that, I told my friends to swim up. As we were swimming up, I caught a glimpse of something big moving towards us. I looked closer and noticed that it was a helicoprion. If you don't know what a helicoprion is, let me tell you about it. It is a 15 feet long shark which had a lower jaw shaped like a circular saw. This creature lived 300 million years ago, and we taught it went extinct, but it isn't. It is right here right now. I signaled Ivy to shoot the helicoprion. She shot the helicoprion and it dodged the shot. My nanobots on my left hand formed a Shadow hand cannon with blue lights at the tip of the cannon. I aimed at the helicoprion and shot it. It got hit and swam away. We continue to swim up as we emerge from the water and into another dimension.
