Chapter 6: The Chamber of the Trident

  Since we frozed the gateway door, we won't be interfered. Now, to get the trident. We walked along the pathway until we saw a map of the pathway. It seemed familiar to me, but I couldn't remember where I have saw this map before.

"Guys, follow my lead," I said.

The map we saw was something like a maze but with traps unknown to those who are entering this maze. We walked forward until we reached a divider pathway.

"What now, Mike?" asked Jack.

I immediately remembered this map's structure. It happened when I was young.

"Go to the right," I said.

"You sure?" asked Jim.

"Just follow me. I know where we are going," I replied.

They followed me to the right. We walked until we reached a gap.

"I'll jump down and you guys follow me," I said.

"Oh, I see," said Jack.

"You remember now?" I asked him.

"Yeah. How did you know?" he asked.

"She let me try it," I replied.

"I see," he replied.

"What are you guys talking about," asked Sarah.

"You'll find out soon," Jack replied.

We jumped down into the gap and we fell into a room. The room is fake. There are signs that says that wherever we touched, it can detonate a bomb. Since we knew it, we know how to get out of here.

"Guys, put on your armor along with the helmet," I said.

We all put on our helmet along with our helmet. Then, I kicked a wall and we were in the chamber of the Trident. We saw a chamber with Poseidon's Trident on it. Once we saw it, we heard a voice.

"I see you passed the maze I created," it said.

"Come on, Mom," said Jack.

She looked at Jack, "Jack?"

"Yes, it is me," he replied.

"Oh, I'm so glad to see you," she said.

"Uh, Mike, who is this?" asked Valentina.

Jack's mom offered her hand and said, "Vanessa Miller, Jack's mom."

"Okay, nice to meet you," she said and shook her hand.

Vanessa turned back to Jack, "What are you guys doing here?"

"We are here to retrieve the trident," I said.

"Oh, okay and I suppose that Liam is outside?" she asked.

"Yes," said Ivy.

"Then, run along. Take the trident," Vanessa said.

"You sure, Mom?" asked Jack.

"I'm sure," she replied.

Jim took the trident and said, "Man, I can feel its power in it."

"Use that power on Liam," said Ivy.

"Noted," Jim said.

"Well, see you guys soon. You all know the drill," Vanessa said.

Everyone nodded and we went back to the gateway.

Once we reached the gateway, the ice that Ivy shot cracked and Liam was on the other side.

"Jim, focus the water coming to you and control it to hit Liam," I said.

"Noted," he said as he did what he was told.

Suddenly, a gush of water surrounded him, and he control the water to hit Liam. He flew back again to the wall.

"Ugh, I'm getting sick of this," he said.

Just then, a gush of water hit him to the side. The impact was so great that it made a hole all the way to the outside. Then, he retreated to the vortex to get back.

"Hey, get back!" shouted Jim.

"Uh, guys?" said Sarah.

"Yeah?" asked Jack.

"We've got bigger problems," she said.

Just then, we heard a roar of all the prehistoric animals.

"We got to get out of here!" I shouted.

We all ran towards the hole and out of the cave. All the prehistoric animals were running towards us.

Jack frowned, "What do they want?"

"I think they are aggravated," I said.

"What?" asked Jim.

"We'd better get out of here," Sarah said.

We jumped into the water and the vortex in the water pulled us back to our world.
