Chapter 15: The Untold Tale of the Voids

"Ivy," I said.

She looked at me and said, "Yes?"

"Come with me," I said.

She followed me into my room.

"Why did you want me for?" she asked.

"I want to show you something, also I want to make sure one thing," I replied.

"Alright," she said.

We sat down and closed our eyes.

In a few seconds, I brought her to the planet where I met Klon. This was a special thing where our minds can go somewhere far without our bodies. I didn't see anybody on the planet.

"What's this?" she asked looking at herself.

"Our mind is here, not our bodies," I replied.

"Creepy, but ok," she said.

"Interesting, let's go somewhere else," I said.

While I said that, we were in a spaceship. We looked around and saw multiple Voids in the spaceship. I saw Klon right in front of us.

"Ivy, this is Klon," I said.

"Hi, Klon," she said.

"Interesting," he said as he examined Ivy. "You are not a Void but you were able to come here."

"How is that even possible?" I asked.

He looked at me and said, "I believe that's your reason to see me."

"Yes," I replied.

"There is an untold tale of the Voids only I know," he said.

In a split second, we were in his quarters. He came in and shut the door.

"The Voids, are very special even we do not know our abilities well. We figured out we can bend elements, read minds, see the future, but there is one more thing," he said.

"The blood of a Void contains all these powers?" I asked.

"Yes and no. The blood is one part but the soul is another story. I saw that once a Void dies, there is a 10% chance of their soul to go into a regular human or a Shadow. And the host of the Void's soul will also inherit their powers," he said.

"So, you're saying that Ivy inherited one of the Void's soul?" I asked.

"Yes," he said.

He examined Ivy even more carefully and said, "Your father's Void soul to be exact."

"Wait, what?!" I said.

"There's no question. The soul in Ivy indeed is Alex Jackson. The odds of being the only Void on Earth and his soul being able to go into Ivy are very small, but it happened anyways. Your family is fuul of wonders, Mike," he said.

"Indeed it is," I agreed.

"So, your father's soul is in me?" Ivy asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Only part of his father's memories will be in you," Klon said. "What do you know of your father's bending abilities?"

"One day, he was so hot he bathed in cold water. The other day, he was.... I can't remember," I said.

"Very well, we shall let Ivy unlock the powers your father inherited," he said.

"Alright, thank you, Klon," Ivy and I said.

"You are very welcome. Anything for the talented yet smart child of Alex Jackson," he said.

We waved goodbye and came back into our bodies.

"Well, you have my father's spirit. That explains it," I said.

"How did I not know about it?" Ivy asked.

"Neither of us knew. Since we got the information, now we know," I replied.

She nodded, "Now we know."

Ivy has my father's soul, I have awaken two of my bending abilities and our team knows the truth. What could possibly go wrong. I have no idea. All that is, I'll leave for the future to decide what will happen and our fate.
