Lily siri evans was a energetic sarcastic girl who loved pranking and quidditch and reading she had bright red hair and amazing green eyes she had a lightning bolt looking scar on her neck lily wasn't in the prophecy but the wrong place at the wrong time lily had been told her parents had died when she was a baby her birthday was july 31st but lily had a gift she could turn into  a doe . 

this  is her animagus form its still a baby cause lily is still small 

when lily first got the letter she couldnt believe it  she had been told stories about magic  because when she was a baby a squib took her in rose smith rose had known about the potters so when she found lily alive in the house she knew she had to take her in she used lilys mothers maiden name for her  and her husband jack smith  jack hated the idea of magic he thought it was freaky and hated jack didn't like lily but hated her even more when rose died in a car crash lily had survived it but rose passed away when lily was eight thats when jack started drinking and hitting lily spent as much time away from home as possible. 

 when lily found out about her magic from someone from the ministry of magic  jack seemed to hate lily more she couldnt wait to get away from him she hated living there but knew she wouldnt be able to leave 

so she boarded the Hogwarts express looking for a free seat she comes across a boy with blonde hair and two big looking other boys "may i sit here everywhere else is full" "sure" "thanks" she got out her potions book re reading for probably the 100 th time when the blonde spoke up "what house do you want to be in" "i dont mind I've been told im probably going to be a ravenclaw  i did some reading it seems like it would fit me" "were going to be Slytherins "one of the bigger boys said  

"im Draco Malfoy this is Crabbe and Goyal" "lily Evans" she gave a small smile 

they all talked and became quick friends but separated when they arrived at hogwarts 

there  stood in the crowd of 1st years was a mop of ginger hair blocked from everyone's view by her future class mates one by one names getting called out

lily Evans  all the teachers froze hearing that name Dumbledore stood up from his seat along with a teacher with long black hair that two teachers looked at the girl seeing an 11 year old lily Evans  

lily climbed onto the stool the hat was placed on her head and started speaking

 "mm very brave but you are also very keen on learning difficult Hufflepuff maybe i know where to put you cunning like a slytherin maybe raven claw mmmmhh i know where to put you  Gryffindor " the table in red started clapping lily made her way to it she got dragged in between two redhead twins "hi im Fred" "im George" they spoke finishing each others sentences "im lily" they continued to talk until the name harry potter was called everyone broke out in whispers i didnt get why people whispered a while later the hat shouted gryffindor we all started clapping he sat by Fred and Georges younger brother Ron 

after the feast we went up to our dorms i shared it with Hermione granger  lavender brown  Parvati patil "hello im hermione granger" "lily evans" "can we sit with each other at breakfast" hermione asked shyly "sure" unlike lily who was loud says what's on her mind and energetic hermione was quite and calm 

the next day lily woke up first and got ready pulling on her uniform and robes 

she headed down to the common room when she saw fred and george huddled up percy sitting in a arm chair reading a book  "hi percy fred george  are you two planning a prank" "no "they both said too quickly "can i help " "percy can we take her home and keep her pls" percy just rolled his eyes ignoring them "hello lily how are you setting in" he gave the young girl a small smile "very well thank you"

later on at breakfast  lily sat with hermione ron and harry they all talked ron didnt really like hermione but her and lily left early for dada  the professor was a bit of a joke history of magic which made lily fall asleep Transfiguration the lesson started and went great they were given a match to turn into a needle only lily and hermione had managed to change it  next was potions after lunch they got there early the dungeons were very cold compared to the rest of the castle draco was already there lily sat by him  "hi draco how are you" "alright lily what about you" "fine thanks" the lesson started snape started the lesson by taking the register who froze at lily's name " miss evans " lily gave him a smile  "here sir" he carried on until he got to Harry's name "ah yes harry potter our new - celebrity" draco crabbe and goyle all sniggered until lily told them to stop with a glare which intimidated the three boys all muttering a sorry  

"potter what would i get if i added powdered root of asphodel to an infusion of wormwood?"

lily's hand shot up as did hermiones but snape kept his gaze on harry who looked like he didnt understand a thing "i dont know sir" snapes lips curled into a sneer "tut tut fame clearly isn't everything" snape ignored lily and hermione "lets try again potter where would you look if i told you to find me a bezoar" " i dont know sir "draco crabbe and goyle went to laugh again but lily gave them a stern look "thought you wouldn't open a book before coming eh potter "
