May 10th, 2019 (11:03 AM) - District Court, Defendant Lobby Nr. 3

Phoenix and Maya met up with their client Makoto Naegi before the start of the trial. Makotos friend, the athlete Aoi Asahina accompanied the brown haired teacher.

Makoto: "Gah I'm so nervous. I wonder if this is how a death row inmate feels when his time finally comes."

Aoi: "You're over exaggerating, Makoto. There is no death penalty for murder in this country."

Phoenix: "Ms. Asahina is right."

Makoto: "I didn't kill Sayaka!"

Phoenix: "Right. And that's what I'm going to proove. So you don't have to go to jail."

Makoto's expression of worry only grew stronger.

Aoi: "So what am I going to be doing, as a witness I mean?"

Phoenix "You can eighter stand by here in the defendant lobby and wait untill you are called into court for your testimony or you could sit in the gallery. Eighter option is fine."

Aoi: "I guess I will head off to sit in the Gallery then. Good luck Makoto."

Aoi left the defendant lobby leaving Makoto with the defense team.

the three shortly went over the evidence in the court record.

Soon the Bailiff asked them to enter the courtroom.

It was the start of...

a deadly judgement... a deadly deception... a deadly betrayal...

May 10th, 2019 (11:30 AM) - District Court, Courtroom Nr. 3

Judge: Court is now in session for the trial of Makoto Naegi.

Phoenix: The Defnse is ready, your honor.

over at the proscecutors bank was standing a proscecutor Phoenix had never seen before. He was tall but slender, had blond hair and piercing blue eyes. Wearing a dark gray suit and tie with a white dress shirt underneath and white rimmed glasses he stood confident at the other side of the courtroom.

[Proscecutor]: "The proscecution was born ready, your honor."

Phoenix: (Who is this guy? He looks more full of himself than any other proscecutor I ever faced untill now.)

[Proscecutor]: "It's the first time I am meeting a worthy opponent. I have heard a lot about you Mr. Wright."

Phoenix: "Uh... Nice to... meet you?"

[Proscecutor]: "The name's Byakuya Togami."

Maya: "Nick! I've heard of him. He is the heir of the Togami Family. They are some of the most influencial People in the world!"

Phoenix: "Where do you keep getting to know about all these famous people."

Maya: "Well sometimes besides watching soap operas and Steel Samurai, I watch Dokumentaries. You should try it for a change, Nick."

Togami: "How long are you two going to keep chatting among yourself? You're wasting my time."

Judge: "I would like to start the proceedings now, if that is alright with you Mr. Wright."
