Princess | Dream

Chapter 5

"Hi chat! How are you guys?" I chirp as I load up Minecraft.

I haven't been on the SMP in a couple of days because Dream instructed me to take a short break for the plot. Obviously, I obliged and after I got the go-ahead message, I was keen to log back in.

"So Chat, today me and Dream are going to be building ourselves a house." I announce and Dream joins immediately.

We meet up at the nether portal and he joins my VC.

"Hey Day." He greets me.

"Hi! So do we have all the blocks?" I ask. He hums in response which makes me smile. We hop into the portal and make our way north for a couple of hundred blocks.

We then build another portal and enter it. We end up in a mountain biome so we decide to build our house on top of a nearby cliff.

I say house, we're building a castle. There's a reason that Dream calls me 'Princess' on stream.

We use diamond, gold, and iron blocks for a good amount of the castle. Also some cobblestone, stone bricks, and a variety of wood when the more expensive blocks run out. Once we finish the exterior we decide to call it a day and head back to the SMP.

"I think we should visit Tommy." I say as we spawn back in the overworld.

Dream looks at me, thinking. "Alright." He says smiling.

We make our way to Tommy's island and upon arrival I see him looking out into the ocean. He jumps up when he notices us and starts spinning. We both laugh and get out of the boat to greet him.

"OH MY GOD HELLO!" He exclaims, evidently happy to see someone.

"Hi, Tommy!" I reply while Dream stays silent.

"Ah yes, of course, I almost forgot!" Tommy laughs and begins digging a hole and then taking his armour off.

"No Tommy, that won't be necessary anymore." I tell him and throw him back his armour. Tommy gasps in shock. "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely." I smile. Tommy just stands there for a second, gears working in his brain.

"You chose him." He says after a moment.

I inhale, I doubt he will understand my reasoning. I simply nod. I hear Tommy grunt with frustration.

Suddenly he runs off in the direction of the village. I begin running after him and Dream does too.

I stop and turn to face Dream. "Wait here." I command and continue running towards Tommy. We continue running until we get into a snow biome, in which he stops running and just waits for me to catch up to him. 

Surrounded by snow, I have no clue that there are ditches all around the map.

"Tommy wait u-" I don't even finish my sentence when I fall through the snow and straight into an obsidian room. Tommy quickly covers the top of the room with obsidian, locking me in. I immediately go into my inventory to take out my pickaxe and begin mining the obsidian. However, Tommy just laughs.

"You have miner fatigue." He informs me.

"What? How?" I look at the ice I'm standing on and notice a guardian just swimming around below me. I'm not even going to ask how he ended up there.

"Tommy." I say sternly, "let me out."

Tommy begins to dig away the dirt surrounding the obsidian trap I am in. He jumps down and mines open one block of obsidian from the side of the room so he can see me.
