Draco had been gone the whole month of October, and was his absence was slowly working into November. Davina still hadn't repaired the vanishing cabinet, and she was starting to ponder ways to kill Dumbledore. She hated the thought of it, but it's not as though she had a choice. She never had.It was late, Davina had started leaving the common room later than she used too. Every time she would attempt it at her usual schedule, Harry would always 'accidentally' run into her. She believed that he had memorized her schedule just so he could whisk her away to their secret room in Gryffindor tower.
Because of this, Davina hadn't had much time to focus on the cabinet. She was letting her priorities slip away, letting herself be shielded by this facade of happiness she had created with Harry. He was extremely protective, and she had let him do just that; protect her from the mess she had waiting for her outside of his walls.
The charm she was using to hide her dark mark from him was slowly dampening her energy. It took more and more strength each time she would cast it, and then drain her just as much once the spell would ware off.
Davina was approaching the spot where Harry would usually run up behind her only to find that he was already waiting when she turned the corner. He thought it was a meeting spot. Davina mentally cursed herself as she approached him with a smile on her face. She mumbled three words and felt her left arm get washed over in coldness, seeping into her muscles and traveling throughout her body, making her almost want to collapse at the toll the spell was beginning to take on her.
She took his hand and kissed him softly as they apparated together. They landed at the astronomy tower. Davina looked around, taking in the sight before her. There was a deep red colored blanket spread across the ground, two weirdly shaped glasses and a bottle of what Davina assumed was muggle alcohol sat in the middle of it. There was soft, thick pillows against the pillars on each end of the blanket so they could lean back comfortably and strings of magical, floating beads of light hung above the whole setup.
It was beautiful.
Davina smiled and looked over at Harry who held his hand out for her to take, when she did she felt his callused palm brush against hers. She followed him over, sat down against one of the fluffy pillows, and picked up the bottle of alcohol as she read the label.
"So, what've you brought me tonight, Mr.Potter?" She glanced over at him as he pushed his glasses higher on the bridge of his nose.
"It's uh— It's basically like FireWhiskey, I mean, it's alcohol. It's called Wine and these—" He motioned to the two glasses he had placed for them, "are called wine glasses," Davina quirked an eyebrow as she glanced from the label down at the glasses. She nodded in acknowledgment and looked at Harry as he stared at her nervously.
"Well, I reckon I 'ought to give it a go," Davina smirked and popped the cap off of the bottle, pouring some into the glass closest to her before handing it over to Harry. She picked the glass up and took a sip, instantly making a face, scrunching up her nose. Harry laughed at her as he took a sip from his own glass.
Eventually, they were both drunk, being way too loud and laughing way too much to be sneaking around a magical castle at three in the morning. Davina's body was warm and tingly, her silver eyes had a droop to them and she couldn't seem to wipe the smile off her face. Even when Harry leaned forward suddenly and crashed his lips into hers, she found herself smiling in between kisses. Because, in this moment, she was genuinely happy and it felt like absolutely nothing could go wrong.

Davina laid under the silky fabric that was bundled around her and Harry. Somewhere in between their drunken make-out session Harry had apparated them back to the secret room. Davina smiled to herself as she traced her fingers along his abs, his hand glided through her hair so gently she could hardly feel it.
