Winter passed, and school had started back up. Davina came back to Hogwarts and soon slipped back into her usual routine and lifestyle she had formed here. The Inquisitorial Squad had one big mission, to figure out what Potter was sneaking around and doing. So, between the built up work from her classes and attempting to eavesdrop and kind of stalk Potter, who was a lot better at being sneaky than she thought, Davina was absolutely exhausted. And she had only made it half way through the day.
On top of all of that, her aunt Bellatrix, her mother's sister, had escaped from Azkaban. Honestly, the woman was kind of crazy, but then again, she was her family. The Black's have sort of grown a reputation for slipping their way out of Azkaban cells. The Daily Prophet thinks that Sirius Black busted Bellatrix out, but Davina knew it was actually her father and mother who persuaded the guards over there into the dark side, which caused them to let Bellatrix go due to strict orders from the Dark Lord.
The sound of glass shattering brought Davina back to the present. Standing behind Umbridge and with the rest of the squad, she looked at the hole in the brick wall, which revealed Harry's piercing green eyes staring back at them all.
"Bombarda Maxima," Calmly slipped from Umbridge's pink colored lips as the wall exploded and collapsed. Davina was starting to wonder where Draco was when he came down the corridor, and peered into the room, yanking Cho Chang in front of him. She looked back at everyone else, crossing her arms as her lips twisted up into a smirk, which Harry instantly noticed.
He gave her a disappointed look, but that's his own fault. This is what he wanted, things to go back to normal. He wanted us to be enemy's again, he got me close to him and then pushed me away, he got me vulnerable and then crushed me. It was probably his plan all along, Davina told herself in her mind as she looked at him and kept herself composed.
"Get them," Ordered Umbridge. And so the squad moved into their territory, doing as they were told, gathering the group together at wand-point.
When the rebellious group, which was now more specifically known as Dumbledore's Army was escorted to where they needed to be, the Minister showed up and went straight to Dumbledore's office. Before long, news spread that he was going to be sent to Azkaban but instead, disappeared with a simple clap of his hands. Seeing as now the headmaster was gone, there was an empty slot for who was head of the school, which was quickly taken by none other than Dolores Umbridge.
"Boys and girls are not permitted to be within eight inches of each other," Boomed Umbridge over the speakers she had she gotten placed around the castle. Davina looked at Draco and made a face.
"Bloody hell," Is all he seemed to say to her, shaking his head.
Announcements like this became a regular thing, all portraits were taken down, and the whole entire order and appearance of the castle changed quickly.
It was evening, and all of Davina's classes were over with. She had the rest of the day free. Umbridge had just made everyone in Dumbledore's Army do lines with their own special quills, which was honestly amusing to her.
She was sitting in the common room, in one of the windows, staring out into the Black Lake, bored our of her mind. The rest of the Slytherin house had decided to use their free time to go outside, so it was completely silent.
Until three loud bangs caused Davina to jump. She slipped off the window and walked towards the entrance to the common room. When it opened, there stood Potter. He was catching his breath, a couple droplets of sweat was rolling from his forehead down the sides of his face, and his dark hair was messier than usual. He looked like he had ran from wherever he was, which, Davina assumed was from the opposite side of the castle.
