Once Upon a time...there was a place called The Isle of Forgetfulness. Deep in the Isle of Forgetfulness, a new unidentified species was discovered. Before the discovery was sent to the press, the explorer went back to the Isle just to check on something. When he leaned over the edge of the dock, a slimy bright scaled hand grabbed his ankle and he was never heard from again. Some say he drowned, but I don't think that's what really happened." "Nice story, where did you get it from? The worst scary stories book store?" Nick asked. "No, my grandfather read it to me every night before I went to bed. He said it actually happened." Axel said. "So, what do you say Samantha and Nick, want to go on a trip?" Axel asked.
"To look for mermaids? No thanks, but I don't want to drown, I'm happy living, thank you." Samantha said. "Mermaids really do exist?" Nick asked. "Of course they exist. Anything is possible." Axel said. "What do you even know about mermaids?" Samantha asked. "All I know is that they drown their victims and live at the bottom of The Isle of Forgetfulness. I know they have fins and are vile creatures and their whole bodies are covered with scales." Axel said. "And you want to go to The Isle of Forgetfulness knowing all of that?" Nick asked. "Yes. It's only a day's journey from here." Axel said. "It's in Finland, genius." Samantha said. "Oh, did I say here, I meant in Finland." Axel said. "How are we supposed to get there?" Nick asked. "I don't have any magic." "But, if we combine Samantha and my powers, maybe that will be enough to transport us all the way to Finland." Axel said. "Wait, you have magic?" Nick asked. "When did that happen?" Samantha asked. "Remember when you wished us to start the day over again, then we went back eight hours before that. Well, I broke my leg so the doctor injected magic healing solution into my veins so that my leg would heal faster. Now I have magic." Axel explained.
"Ok, if you think your plan will work then we have to try it." Samantha said. Nick wouldn't stop to object the idea so he held hands with Axel as he held hands with Samantha. They formed a triangle again only this time, Axel and Samantha closed their eyes and orange and dark blue light emitted from the both of them and they started floating. They concentrated on Finland and meeting mermaids at The Isle of Forgetfulness. They floated up 2 feet in the air and started going in circles. The orange and dark blue light glowed brighter as it circled with them. The harder they concentrated, the faster the light went around them and the faster they rotated. They floated up higher and the orange and dark blue light covered them head to toe and formed an orb.
They were engulfed by the light and they floated up to the ceiling. Fireworks shot out of the light and they disappeared. The light blew up and a million-mini dark blue and orange sparkles illuminated the cavern as they fell to the floor and vanished. Axel and Samantha were powerful enough with their powers combined to transport all the way to Finland. As the last sparkle fell to the ground, a new color shined in it. A purple blazing flame swirled around the sparkle and it floated to the cavern floor and coruscated in the cavern walls and spikes as it hit the floor and vanished.
Axel, Samantha, and Nick vanished from the cavern and now they were above the clouds soaring toward Finland. Once they were directly above Finland, they descended. It was about 3 in the morning and with the light surrounding the three young adults, it almost looked like a shooting star but with an orange and dark blue glow. As Axel, Samantha, and Nick reached the ground of Finland, they fell on their knees.
"Wow, we did it!" Axel shouted. He was just getting used to having magic and now he could transport anywhere he wanted without problems. "Yes, it did. Great work, Axel." Samantha said. Nick couldn't believe that he was part of the teleportation that he smiled. "That was awesome! I still am a tad ecstatic that magic exists." "Magic is exciting." Samantha said. "What's that?" "What's what?" Nick asked. Samantha was pointing at a purple blazing flame sparkle that hit Nick's shoulder. Axel noticed it as well. "Nick...don't freak out but your burning." The purple blazing flame glowed dim and Nick poked it and it absorbed into his finger. "How did you do that?" Axel asked. "You put out the flame on your own. Wasn't it magic?" "I don't know how I did it. I just knew what to do. Isn't that crazy?" Nick said.
