Chapter 36: Finally Free

Samantha knew exactly where they were. "I thought this place was a bad dream, only in my head, I never would have thought that this place would be real!" Samantha said panicking. "You know where we are?" Axel asked looking around. There was a grove of dead trees around the group of people/souls, taller than a cemetery entry gate. The sky above was misty and there was a gloomy fog surrounding the forest making it difficult for anyone to see anything around them. "Yes...it's The Shady Realm. Only a nightmare to young children, a place that is hard to get out of." "There has to be a way to get out of here." Axel said. "I wish there was a way but I don't know of any." Samantha said. "There is supposed to be a special person who can break any barrier with the help of her pearl necklace." Miss. Keaton said caressing Samantha's shoulder. "Me? I don't have magic right now. How can I be the person you're looking for?" Miss. Keaton removed her hand from Samantha's shoulder. "You don't have any magic?" "That's correct." All of the nymphs gasped. "Then we're doomed!" Dusty said. "No we're not. We will just have to find another way." Miss. Keaton said. "And how are we going to do that?" Katharine asked. "I believe in her." Miss. Keaton said and Samantha smiled looking up at her teacher.

"So how are we supposed to get out of here?" Cooper asked. "Cooper, we all have special powers. There has to be something magical about this place that has a key." Inventor Escobar said. "Dad that actually does make sense. Is there a door?" Cooper said. "Unfortunately, there isn't anything magical about this place." Brittle said. "Except for the demon Asura." Lyric said. "What was that? Did you just say demon?" Liza asked, scared. Asura creeped upon the cliff's edge. His huge orange eyes, just like human eyes, were shown through the fog, their glow shining. Asura came slowly up and next was his nose that was big compared to the boulder that had the plaque in Finland. His mouth was a sight to see but it wasn't shown to the crowd due to the massive fog cloud. "So...who is the one who's going to get us out of here, hmmmm?" Everyone pointed at Samantha except for Axel. "Who are you?" Axel asked, not scared at all. "I'm Asura the ruler of this realm or at least that's what I was commanded to do."

Axel wondered why this was happening. "Samantha...I need to know something." "Go ahead Axel." Samantha said in a mutter. "Have you wondered why we are even here right now? Is this another trick caused by Ashlynn?" "Hmmm it might be a trick." Asura came closer to the group. "Well, Asura, we aren't sure how to get out of here. This place is your home?" Cooper said. "No, it is not my home. I'm the one demon who guards this realm because the great beyond or elsewhere is the place where my creator lives and she's after the souls here so I feed off of souls." "Who is your creator demon?" Vivian asked. "Tabitha." "Tabitha Tabitha Tabitha. I don't know any Tabitha." Samantha mumbled. "I never heard of a witch that creates demons." "How are we going to get out of here? Please I just want to leave." Liza said crying fake tears. She was scared out of her mind.

"Hahahahahahahaha!" A loud clamor came from all around. "Having fun, are we? Haha! I thought so." Everyone looked around and were scared of who that voice was but Axel knew it had to be Ashlynn. "Ashlynn...why don't you show your nasty ass self here so we can bust your head open!" Axel said. "Axel, that's a horrid thing to say." Emilie said. "I like you being horrid." "Um...Emilie...he's my boyfriend." Samantha said. "Oh...that's happening. When you get tired of her you know where to find me." "Yeah right with us in this dumb scary realm. We have bigger focuses to focus on right now Emilie." "Sorry Axel no can do. I'm afraid that's out of the question since I have you all where I wanted you to begin with." "What do you mean?" Samantha asked. "It's easy to explain really. While all of you went through your personal scape, I had a crazy idea that you would be here in this realm where I pull the strings." "You can't do that. This isn't your realm." Axel said. "I know it was Tabitha's before but since her demise I guess it's mine to take over. I'm in charge and you all are my little puppets."
