Willow trees surrounded the glen full of marsh. A trickle of ice-cold water outburst from a mountain that led to a spring in the middle of the valley causing a division in the forest. Storm after storm flooded the whole forest in the middle of Finland. One day a young witch came by suffering from the betrayal of a new made friend; a few really, but they weren't really friends with her. She came to a tree stump and sat down as she wept away her pain. That pain eventually almost immediately turned into animosity toward Calantha and her friends. "One day I'll get my revenge on those girls who made me like this." Ashlynn said. A flash of lightning shone through the clouds and hit the ground right in front of the young witch. It frightened her so that she picked up her feet and laid them on the stump. A thought came to her newly twisted mind. "If only I had friends who understand me the way I am." Ashlynn held onto her amulet which glowed and pointed her hand toward the lightning bolt. She grabbed it when it clashed with the ground and directed it to the river and released. The lightning bolt electrocuted everything in the water, every fish and plant, so that her new friends have a sacred place to stay.
The young witch smiled because she could never do that before; move nature and use it to her advantage. For now, she had to stay away from her parents; she didn't want them to fear her and lock her up in the tower which is basically the torture chamber. "The only friends that I can have and who can live in this river are mermaids. But who can be dumb enough to create a new species?" Ashlynn asked. A week later...the young witch came by the tree stump and sat down to decompress...but she had no idea what she had said before...she looked around and found everything around her unfamiliar. "I forgot who I wanted my friends to be, wait, wait...wait...the river...the only species that can talk and inhabit the water are...mermaids! Why did I forget what I thought about?" A clear green mist spread through the river in the past week when the young witch left. It caused her to forget her past thoughts. "This land is cursed! No! It has something to do with this mist. The mysterious fog causes you to forget your memory of the past 13 hours. This place should be given a name since I'm the only person living here. Hmmm...what should it be? This forest area is separated from other areas, almost like an island, but it isn't surrounded by water, so it has to be an isle. The clear green fog causes me to forget my thoughts so it should be named The Isle of Forgetfulness! Huh, I like the sound that gives off. My very own home. Away from everyone else. Sounds like I'm staying!" Ashlynn said, jumped up off the tree stump, and used her powers to build a house which she is the only resident, and she stepped over the threshold and shut the door.
Five years later, Jeremy was walking through the woods on his way back to the castle he was staying at with his step-mother, The Queen of Hearts and his father, Darin Marshal, listening to the sounds the birds made. Off the corner of his eye he saw a beautiful woman with raven black hair, light brown skin, and the most beautiful shade of brown eyes. She was swimming in the river and Jeremy stood by a tree, watching her take strokes through the crystal blue water. When she got out and dried herself off with the wind she conjured herself, Jeremy was sure that she had no idea he was watching her and that's when the woman turned around and caught a glimpse of Jeremy. "What do you think you're doing?" "I wasn't watching a beautiful woman swim and then use magic to dry herself off." Jeremy flirtatiously said ever so confidently. "Oh, did you enjoy the show?" The woman asked. "I couldn't tell if you were real or just in my head. I'm really glad you're real." Jeremy came from behind the tree he was hiding behind and walked up to the beautiful woman. "My-." "What?" The woman asked, wrapping the towel around her naked body. "You just got more beautiful." "Awe. Do you tell this to all the girls you meet?" "I don't make impressions like this to every girl I meet. Just you." Jeremy said. "Well are you going to tell me your name or am I going to have to keep searching?" "It's Jeremy."
Jeremy looked at the woman standing before him and smiled. "I'm Tarisha and the magic you just saw is one of my perks of being a nymph." "Wait-what? You're a Greek nymph?" "Actually, we live about everywhere but yes, I am a sea nymph." Tarisha said. "We should get out of here." Jeremy said. Jeremy and Tarisha walked down the trail and then she put on the clothes that were laying on a giant rock. "What do nymphs like to eat?" "Jeremy, are you asking me out?" "Not exactly, just wanting to know what to get and not kill you if you have allergies." "Well, nymphs love lamb for some reason, and pork, kabobs, fish but only the red ones, and pasta. No beef, scallions, shellfish, gator tale, or squid." "Ok, so there's a ton of restaurants in Finland. Have you been to any that you liked the most?" "I really like Lappi Ravintola cause it's private and the waiters are really nice." "Let's go then!"
