2- I Wish I Was As Great As My Last Name Suggests

-Awsten's POV-

Having the last name Knight is like hell, because I'm definitely not that great, as stated before by Jawn. But Aria... She was amazing. I stalked her instagram a bit and found some photos of her, she has super colorful hair, nd amazing sense of humor, I told myself i'd never fall for another girl, but I think i may have already fallen, and I haven't even met her yet.

-Aria's POV-

Today was the day of the meeting with their management team. I was terrified.

This would be my first time meeting the band and their management and it was on such weird terms.

I decided i'd tweet.

Jawn had been interacting with me a lot and I wasn't really sure why. He was now their ex photographer.

I finished getting ready and headed to the address Awaten had sent me via Dm last night.

I walked into the building and found the room we were meeting in. All the big names from the label, and the Madden brothers along with the band were in the room and I felt my face flush.

"You look like you saw a ghost, are you alright?" Awsten spoke and I snapped out of it.

"Yeah, yup. I'm all good. I feel really underdressed" I spoke and he laughed.

They were all dressed up really nicely and I was just wearing a t-shirt and ripped jeans.

"It's all good, sit" he spoke and I sat down.

"So we took a look at your portfolio, you photograph weddings?" Their manager spoke and I felt my heart sink.

"Yeah, mostly. I've done a few shows here and there but have been wanting to get into the music industry permanently which is tricky cause new bands don't just pop up out of nowhere." I spoke and he nodded.

"Cool, cool. I like it. Are you going to have enough time for touring?" He spoke and I immediately responded.

"Yes, I'm all good"

"Then the job is officially yours. Welcome to the team" He spoke and I immediately felt a rush of relief.

We all walked out and Geoff pulled me aside.

"Everything alright?" I spoke, now becoming nervous.

"I haven't seen him look at someone like that since 2018. Be good to him, please" He spoke and it dawned on me what he was implying.

"Of course" I spoke and Awsten came up behind him as he walked away.

"You wanna go get coffee?" he spoke and I agreed, we both drove there separately cause we didn't wanna have to come back.

We got to the coffee shop and ordered before sitting down. We just sat in awkward silence before Awsten spoke.

"I have a super weird question."

"Okay, shoot" I spoke

"What's your middle name?" He asked and I was shocked.

"First of all, that is kinda an odd question, but to answer it. Kaylen. You?"

"Constantine. Don't ask, I have no idea how my parents came up with it" He spoke and I just laughed.

We talked and sipped on our coffees, we talked about long term goals, relationship types, stuff like that. I caught his phone number and then we left, heading our separate ways.

I went home and changed my twitter username before tweeting.

Awsten and I texted back and forth until I eventually fell asleep on my couch.

I had met this boy once, and he already had my heart in his hands.
