5- I Resent The Party Scene With A Part Of Me That's Hard To See

-Awsten's POV-

Today was the day. I was finally gonna tell Aria how I felt, and also it was the day of the Turbulent release, so that's cool too.

"Awsten, you wanan go out tonight to celebrate with me and Otto?" Geoff spoke from beside me as I was thinking of what to say to him.

"First of all, if you've ever actually listened to TANTRUM you'd know that I resent the party scene, and second of all, no. i kinda have bigger fish to fry" I spoke and he just looked at me.

"You're finally gonna tell her aren't you?" He spoke and I just smiled, signaling my answer.

"Good luck bud, don't die" and with that he left.

I texted Aria to see what she was doing tonight.

Hey Ari, whatcha up to?

She replied back instantly

Just sitting at home, last minute editing photos for tonight. Why aren't you out celebrating?

I don't like the party scene

I replied back and it took her a minute to reply again

I'll be there in 15 and we'll celebrate together :)

That's exactly what I wanted. I mentally prepared myself for the following several hours.

She showed up exactly 15 minutes later, I was shocked.

I let her in and she sat down on my couch.

"Come, sit. I don't wanna just hangout by myself on the night of your first official release with Hopeless Records" She spoke and I went and sat down next to her, she layed her head in my lap while finihsig up some of the photos she had taken for tonight.

"Wow, Jawn could never" I spoke and she giggled.

"He probably could, just chose not to" She spoke and we just laughed for a little while before she put her laptop away and cuddles up next to me.

"Awsten are you alright?" She spoke and I smiled.

"Yeah, yeah i'm all good. Why?" I spoke and she looked at me shocked.

"Because turbulent came out 5 minutes ago and you still haven't said a word" She spoke and i looked at the clock. She was right.

'Oh shit. Do you have pictures I can post?" I asked, clearly now very panicked.

"Already on your phone. Take a breath. Let me see" She spoke and took my phone from me, going to the band insta and posting.

"There, all done. Now what's got you in such a haze today?" She spoke and I just looked at her.

"You, actually..." I spoke and she looked at me very confused.

"Oh? Care to elaborate?" She spoke and I sighed.

"I like you, a lot, and I know it's not great on the business front but um yeah" I spoke, now clearly nervous.

"Is this you asking me to be your girlfriend?" She spoke and I almost stuttered.

"If that's what you want us to be" I spoke and she giggled, placing her head in my lap once again.

"Yes, Awsten. I'd love to" She spoke and my heart fell into my stomach. That was a lot easier than I imagined.

-Aria's POV-

So that just happened, and I didn't have to say a word.

I'm dating Awsten Knight, a dream I've had since I discovered them.

I sat up and kissed his lips softly before laying back down on his chest.

"Movies?" I asked with the remote in my hand.

"Absolutely" He spoke and we picked a movie.

We watched movies till almost 4am when Geoff called and Awsten had to go get him.
