-Aria's POV-

By the time Awsten had gotten out of the shower Kayla had only picked out an outfit.

"Kayla, you need to hurry" I spoke and she just looked at me like I was nuts.

"Trust the process Ari. Jeez" She spoke and then I heard a voice from the doorway.

"Actually she's right. You gotta go cause I'm not gonna let you trash our apartment while were gone" Awsten spoke and I looked at him shocked.

Kayla just shrugged her shoulders and left.

"What was that all about?" I asked, clearly confused.

"How log have you guys been friends?" he spoke and I thought for a moment.

"A year, maybe a year and a half. Why?" I asked and he pulled up tweets and an entire hashtag around her and some guy from her brothers band. Really bad stuff was being said, and the bad part was, there was proof. I wanted to breakdown, but I couldn't.

"Honey are you okay. I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's fine. Let's just go" I cut him off and he looked sad, but I figured i'd bring it up in the car.

We got to the car and I sighed.

"Awsten. I wan't you to know that I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at her. I wish I would've known" I spoke and he just sighed.

"I'm sorry I was so aggressive. I just don't want you getting hurt" He spoke and I kissed his cheek.

"You were just trying to protect me, it's okay. Now lets go, I'm excited to meet your parents" I spoke and he started driving, singing quietly to the music playing from the radio.

We arrived at his parents house and I was starting to get excitement anxiety sickness again. Awsten must have noticed because he rubbed small circles in my back until I felt better.

"You're gonna be fine, I talk about you every time I talk to my mom and she already loves you" he spoke and I calmed down.

"Okay okay. Let's do this" I spoke and we got out of the car and heading up to the door.

Awsten opened it as he had a key and his sister automatically noticed, and came over quietly.

"Aria are you okay? Can I be honest here?" She spoke and I nodded.

"You look like you rolled out of an emotional dumpster fire. We're gonna go upstairs and get you cleaned up, and I'll text Awsten so he doesn't worry, come on" She spoke and I followed her upstairs, she was right.

-Gracie's POV-

They walked into the house and I immediately noticed the emotion in Aria's face, she looked like she had just rolled out of an emotional dumpster fire and needed someone to talk to, so I walked over and pulled her upstairs with me before our parents would notice that she was here.

To: Awsten

Hey, don't flip out, Aria's safe. I have her up here with me, she looks and sounds like a wreck and I don't want mom to be a bitch about it.

Moments later he texted back.

Okay, thank you. It's been a really hard day for her. Just make sure she's okay.

G: Always:) That's what I'm here for, maybe like brag about touring with FOB and ATL for a while to keep mom busy

A: Sounds good

I sat down next to Aria and hugged her.

"You wanna talk about it?" I spoke and she just nodded before pulling out her phone.

She opened her notes app and typed out what she wanted to say.

Not gonna actually talk because I feel an inevitable breakdown. But it's just been hard. I found out that my ex close friend Kayla did a lot of bad stuff, and just by association I feel really gross for even going near her.

I looked at her and hugged her again, I felt a tear slip onto my sweater.

"It's okay, let it out, we've got time" I spoke and let her cry into my sweater.

She looked up at me after she had calmed down and looked at my sweater, then back at me with apologetic eyes.

"It's okay, don't worry about it. Let's get you cleaned up yeah?" I spoke and she nodded. I shot Awsten a quick text.

Hey, she's not talking. But I'm not gonna push it cause she just needs her time. I'll handle mom when we come down but I need you to stall for like another half hour

He sent back a quick 'okay' and then I let Aria borrow one of my dresses and I fixed her hair and makeup.

About 25 minutes later I had her in front of my full length mirror.

"You look gorgeous." I spoke and she smiled before also speaking.

"Thank you. I really needed that" She spoke and I smiled, also now changing into a knee length black dress.

"Of course. Anytime. Let's go downstairs" I spoke and she agreed.

We got to the bottom of the stairs and Awstens jaw dropped.

"You must be Aria!" my mom spoke and I went to go sit next to Awsten while they talked.

"How did you do it?" he spoke, looking right at me.

"It's a girl thing Aws. All she needed was a good cry and to feel pretty, that's what I did" I spoke and he smiled.

"Thank you. She needed that today" he spoke and I just smiled. My mom then announced that dinner was ready.

We spent the night talking and hanging out and making jokes, and at the end of the night I pulled Aria aside again.

"Everything alright?" She spoke and I giggled a little.

"Yeah, everythings great. My mom hasn't liked one of Awsten's girlfriends this much since he was in middle school. She loves you. I also just wanted to tell you that you're more than welcome to come play dress up in my closet anytime you want, i'd be more than happy" I spoke and he hugged me.

"Thank you so much. I'll have Awsten bring you your dress back." She spoke and I smiled, we walked back to the table and Awsten was wrapping up his conversation.

They left and I had to try to explain to my mother why Aria came down the stairs instead of through the front door.

I don't wanna tak about it.

-Aria's POV-

Tonight was really great. Gracie really helped me feel better and get myself in order, and meeting his parents wasn't nearly as bad as I'd imagined.

"She loves you, by the way, and she doesn't like anyone" Awsten spoke, pulling me out of my thoughts

"Well at least I'm doing one thing right" I spoke and he smiled.

"Indeed you are my love, indeed you are"
