-Aria's POV-

We were going over to Ronnie and Chris' today and to say I was nervous was na understatement. Not for myself, but for Awsten.

"Are you ready to go?" I spoke and Awsten came running out of the bedroom trying to tie his shoe.

"I am now, just let me tie my shoe" He spoke as he leaned down and tied his shoe.

"Okay, now we can go" he spoke and I grabbed my keys, wallet, and phone off the counter before we walked out the door. I texted Ronnie to tell her we were on our way and we got in the car.

We drove over and when we arrived I texted Ronnie so she knew we were here before I looked to Awsten and spoke.

"What are we not gonna do today?" I spoke

"Start fights because that's unnecessary" He spoke and I giggled, unbuckling my seatbelt.

"Good, I just fixed this and I want it to stay fixed, for all of us" I spoke as we both got out of the car and walked up to the door.

I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.

Ronnie opened it and smiled.

"Hi! You guys are a bit early, so don't mind the mess. Come on in" She spoke and we followed her in, taking our shoes off at the door out of respect, something I used to do when my mom had carpet in the front room.

"sit down, make yourselves comfortable. Chris can I talk to you for a minute in the kitchen." She spoke and we sat down as they went into the kitchen.

"That's it, he hates me" Awsten spoke and I just layed my head on his shoulder.

"Yeah maybe right now he does, but you have to remember what you did. You can't just expect it all to go away, that's why we're here" I spoke and he sighed.

"I guess you're right" He spoke and I smiled.

"Always am, now don't be so tense, it's gonna be fine" I spoke and he relaxed as Ronnie and Chris came back into the room.

We sit down and the topic of conversation lands on Kayla, pulling me and Ronnie close to eachother.

"So how did you guys meet?" I spoke talking more to Veronica than anyone else.

"Emerson. I went to see Palaye Royale a few years back and we hit it off. You?" She spoke and I smiled.

"We ran into eachother at a waterparks show, actually, before I met Awsten" I spoke and she smiled, the conversation went on for a bit until Awsten spoke up.

"Who's kid is that?" He spoke and I elbowed him in the ribcage to signal a wrong move. I watched Ronnie start to get kinda upset and I grab her hand softly.

"Hey, come on, let's let them work this out" I spoke and we walked into the kitchen

-Awsten's POV-

I had obviously said something wrong as Aria elbowed me in the ribs and she never does that.

"Did I say something wrong?" I spoke, more to myself.

"Wrong? Wrong? Seriously? Do you not see the tweets?" Chris spoke and I just stared.

"I'm gonna be honest, I have not" I spoke and he calmed down, sitting across from me.

"Oh... I really thought you were just being an asshole. That's our late son Christopher" He spoke and I felt my eyes water, this same situation happened to Gracie a few years back and I remember it like it was yesterday.

"I'm so so sorry. I would never be an asshole on purpose like that. I only do that to Jawn and Geoff cause they know it's all a joke. Something like this happened to my sister a few years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday" I spoke and we continued to talk while the girls were in the kitchen.

-Aria's POV-

We headed into the kitchen and I hugged her.

"It's okay, they'll work it out" I spoke and she nodded.

"It just hurts to think about it" She spoke and I held her closer.

"I know, it's okay, you don't need to explain" I spoke and we just sat there for a few minutes until I heard the conversation in the living room die down. I heard something I didn't know and it broke my heart.

This had happened to Gracie too.

We walked back out into the living room and I elbowed him again, he looked at me like I had two heads.

"Were you guys just not gonna tell me?" i spoke and he immediately caught on.

"She doesn't talk about it much, only during holidays when people ask about it" he spoke and my eyes water a bit.

"Good to know" I spoke and we went back to having other conversations about less depressing things.

Me and Veronica hit it off immediately which was nice. We shared a love for photography, and music, and it was overall a really great time. I wasn't really sure where things stood between Awsten and Chris though.

We thanked them for having us over and me and Veronica swapped numbers before we left.

We got in the car and Awsten broke down.

"Who else knows Awsten?" I spoke and he looked at me.

"Just me, Gracie, Chris and now you. Our mom doesn't even know" He spoke and I pulled him close.

"You would've made an amazing uncle, just like you're going to make an amazing father" I spoke and we drove home, heading to bed and just hanging out for a while.
