Infinities

chapter 1

It was the final day here at Sutton Academy my junior year has ended and I was ready to go home. My roommates have already left and I am sitting on my room alone waiting for my parents to pick me up.

After waiting 30 minutes I check my year book to see all the activities I missed during the school year. I only have 3 signatures in the year book. One is from my math teacher and the other two is from both my roommates.

My roommates are the type of people you met and fall in love with. First there is Tobia she was the all around athlete her parents placed her in every sport you could think of as a child. She was on most sports teams at Sutton and still managed to maintain a B+ average. Then there is Brianna she is a straight A student and manages to have a jumping social life. She went to more parities than I could count an she was dating the most popular guy in school. And then there's me Jianna Taylor straight A student whose only friends are my roommates and my math teacher. I know pathetic.

After a montage of texts to my parents my father finally answers an tells me they have sent Marcus to pick me up. Marcus is my older due to my fathers teenage love affair. Even though Marcus is my half brother and I don't see him much because he lives with his mother he is still the closest family member I have.

"Come on baby sister! " I hear the voice from a distance and immediately a smile is plastered on my face. "Who is that? How old is he ? " the girls behind me really need to learn to whisper

Girls always swoon over him bit I don't see it. I see the boy who wet the bed until he was 11.

"So how was the semester rabbit? " putting the bags in the trunk.

"It was OK I guess I came second in my grade mom and dad are going to kill me."

"Second! In the entire grade! That's great of mom and dad kill you for that they really have impossible expectations."

It still puzzles me why he calls my mother mom but I don't question it knowing he doesn't like his mother very much.
