Third Lesson, Geography with Mrs Fizgerald. Again, I wrote nothing but listened very carefully, picking up all the little details which she was saying. Bonnie was in my lesson aswell but this time she sat on the other side of the classroom at the front where as I sat alone at the back. Every now and again she glanced over at me and did a little faint smile, I think she classed me as a friend. Lisa and Shazney were also in Geography, they sat two rows in front of me and every now and again they're turn around and whisper something, then giggle like little 12 year olds. The bell finally rung and I picked my bag up and walked out.
"Sinead, Sinead," Someone behind me shouted. I turned around and looked at her. "Do you want to go to the canteen together?" She asked.
"Why not?" I agreed, it was better than going alone. I only had £2 which was change from the taxi fair from the Airport to the school this morning. The dinner that was being served was mash potato, chips and sausages or a sandwhich. I picked up a ham sandwhich, I wasn't that hungry but I had to eat something.
"Look who it is," Lisa cooed, pushing in the que in front of me.
"What are you doing?" Bonnie asked.
"Getting lunch, what does it look like?" Shazney laughed, picking up a chicken sandwhich from the stand.
"The back of the que is that way," I pointed out.
"We know, but luckily you were keeping a space for us," Lisa lied. She paid for her meal and opened the can of lemonade she bought, shaking it first. It sprayed my top, leaving damp sticky marks. A few people gasped and other laughed. I looked around, Mum was nowhere to be seem and Mrs Mulgrew and the old man who told us off at break was watching me very carefully. I turned around and walked back the way I just came. The metal container which the mash potato was in was warm and it burned my hand when I picked up it. I tipped it over Lisa's head and everyone in the canteen laughed.
"Sinead!" Mrs Mulgrew shouted, raising up from her seat and looking at us both. Everyone in the room knew what was coming next.
"Accidents happen," I smuggly smiled.
"Sinead, just leave it," Bonnie advised, pulling my bag. I dropped it when she had it in her hand."That's it," Lisa screamed and she ran for me and grabbed my hair. I tried to get her off my hair by shoving her, but in the end I just grabbed her hair too. I could hear people screaming 'fight fight fight', some shouting at me and some for Lisa. The room fell silent accept for me and Lisa. Someone grabbed Lisa and then someone grabbed me too. It was Mum, she pushed me back and I tried to go back for Lisa. I looked around, the canteen was a mess and everyone was standing back. mrs Mulgrew was standing with her arms folded and the man she was sitting with remained seated.
"That's enough," Mr Fizgerald shouted. "Cooler Sinead, now," He demanded and Miss Hutchinson took me. I grabbed my bag from Bonnie, who was still holding it and followed Mum, she didn't look impressed.A/N - I don't know whether people enjoy this or not, I do enjoy writing and making up stories so I thought why not give writing something for people to read a go? I know not all of the characters and storylines are mine but if anyone wants to leave a comment or vote they are more than welcome. Please comment whether this is good or bad, I seem to be getting mixed reactions so far!
Thank you so much, Chantel❤️
