Sunwoo had spent the rest of the night hiding in his room. Even when Chanhee did come back, he was still laying in his bed pretending to be asleep. Chanhee had called his name a few times, but ended up coming to the conclusion that Sunwoo must have had work the next day and that was why he was sleeping at 9:00.
Before going to sleep, Chanhee put some water in the coffee machine and put both his and Sunwoo's mugs beside it. He figured that Sunwoo would have to wake up extra early to get to work before his classes started.
After making sure that everything was set up for the next day, Chanhee went into his room so that he wouldn't wake Sunwoo up.
--------------
Sunwoo had pulled an all nighter, which was a terrible decision since he had a full day of classes. He was never one to pay full attention in class, but he was never this exhausted. Thank goodness that they were online classes, so that he wouldn't get yelled at by some old professor for sleeping.
Sunwoo had stayed up all night trying to find ways to say happy birthday to Chanhee. At first, he didn't want to since he was upset about Chanhee being straight, but he quickly realized that Chanhee was just his roommate and that there was absolutely no reason for him to be upset.
He then decided that he would just go out to the kitchen or living room before his classes and say it to the older boy. But when he came out before his classes started, Chanhee had already left for school- since he actually attended lectures and classes.
And when Sunwoo's classes had finally ended, he had gotten a text from his roommate saying that their older friends had already picked him up and that they'd be out for the rest of the night.
Sunwoo was extremely bored in the apartment. He was usually used to being by himself, but now the living space just felt empty. He had never thought that he would want to see Chanhee as much as he did now.
He hated the fact that he liked Chanhee. This was the person that he was supposed to hate. The reason why his life had spiraled so far down. But for some reason, he couldn't help but like the older boy.
Maybe it was his smile, or his cute little jokes? Or the way that he still calls the younger boy Sunnie?
Either way, Sunwoo knew that he really needed to get rid of these feelings.
