Sunwoo kept thinking about one of the many scoldings that he had gotten from Chanhee. More specifically, the one about not visiting his parents. The more he thought about it, the worse that he felt. Damn Chanhee, making him feel bad about things that the wouldn't have even spared a glance to before.
Since he was feeling particularly terrible, he decided to go see his parents again. Sure it had only been a day or so, but he was beginning to want to make up for all the time he wasn't there.
He got in his car and pulled out a cigarette before making his way to his parents house. The ride there was only ten minutes, so it wasn't a very long drive.
He put out his cigarette before entering the neighborhood- since almost all of his neighbors were snitches in one way or another.
When Sunwoo got there, his mother was overjoyed- to say the least. She was so happy that he came two days in a row, that she didn't even ask the reason. Sunwoo was glad about that, because he couldn't really say that it was because of Chanhee without telling his mom that they weren't and hadn't been friends for the last four years. How he managed to keep that a secret for them? He doesn't even know himself.
After spending two hours with his hyperactive sister, his overjoyed mother, and his dad who was looking for a good wife for his son, Sunwoo decided that it was finally time to leave. He felt like his head was going to explode if he stayed there for any longer.
He got into his car and drove to a nearby park before getting out and starting a cigarette. He really needed a smoke and some fresh air, so why not just kill two birds with one stone?
