"Woah, Sunnie, what the hell? Where even is this coming from?"
"Don't act so surprised. I just thought it'd benefit the both of us. You could help me with rent, you'd be away from your parents, and whats there to lose? You already know my secrets so you're like the only person that could be my roommate without me exposing myself."
"Are you sure? You aren't exactly my biggest fan, remember?"
"Yeah, I know. But like I said, I can't just ask anyone to be my roommate. Then they'd know about all the dumb shit I've done and still am doing."
"None of our friends know?"
"Nope. And they haven't found out."
"How long have you kept it from them?"
"Four years."
"Oh, shit. If thats the case, then I guess I could move in."
"You guess?"
"Yeah, the only reason I haven't already moved out is because I don't want to leave my parents by themselves."
"Let your brother take care of them. They're shit to you. You do everything for them and they treat you like crap."
"Wow, Sunnie. I don't remember you being this straight forward."
"Yeah, I get that a lot."
The two boys sat there for a little longer before deciding that it was getting late. Sunwoo had told Chanhee that he could move in any time, and even gave the older boy his phone number in case he needed anything. The two boys might have fallen out, but that wouldn't stop Sunwoo from caring about Chanhee's safety.
Sunwoo made his way home, and for the first time he felt like he didn't need a drink. Talking with Chanhee seemed to have done the job. Which was odd considering that talking to someone usually never helped.
Maybe this living situation would do him more good than he originally thought.
