Under a curtain of black webs, next to a pool that seems to suck up the shadows of Avathar, Ungoliant ponders on the terms she has negotiated with her former master. So long as she remembers the light that will become hers, she will breathe Aman's saccharine air and expose herself to the Valar's fiery eyes with an undaunted heart. Marquincia is one the Forgotten Ainur. She was forgotten after created by Ilûvatar but she wasn't finished. She didn't know she was one on the Vala until she was stranded and cast aside. She was nothing until she was compared to another Ainur named Melkor.

modern silmarillion au || enter tirion. a gleaming city of perfect houses, the living dream. maedhros, the son of a wealthy jeweller, is in university and the worst that could happen is him failing classic literature. for him, his world is home and nearby, nowhere like the stories that seem so far away about melkor and his growing empire. but no place is perfect, not even home.

This is an Angbang/Silmarillion fanfic written by me and the incredible @SweetieDoggie. In which an irritable Melkor, a disaster-prone Mairon and an unfortunate Maedhros all end up in the same fortress, so naturally chaos ensues.

They now live in the middle earth that everyone knows. Yet, they are hidden and keep to themselves. Protecting the world from monstrous beings that are still alive from the wood they knew. They stayed like this for a very long time and they enjoy their solitude. Yet, now they have a choice: do they help Fingolfin and those who are following him across the Helcaraxë and change the course of fate. Oneshots referring to J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion and time around that (Like different wars, the first age or the time before). Some gay ships, but nothing too 'hard'. There are 'famous' (canon) characters like Glorfindel or Sauron, but also OCs. There's no really plot in there, just the things that get into my mind. Main themes are love without happy ending, mostly characters die or fall into psychological abyss. Don't read when you can't handle. Please. Canon characters belong to Tolkien, OCs are mine.
