An elf awakens on the shores of Cuiviénen and discovers she is not alone. Thrust into a tribe and discovering her mate too early, she struggles to find herself as her people unite in their struggles against Morgoth. When Oromë comes, will they follow? ---- Middle Earth belongs to J.R.R. Tolkien, as do most all of the named characters aside from Tindómiel and Lómion. I just love the world and want to fill in some narrative gaps in the First Age. Oromë loves all his siblings; it's just, they all screw up sometimes. He knows they are going to make mistakes with Arda; heck, look at what happened with the Music. So when Manwe accuses Melkor of going off the handle for the umpteenth time, Oromë leaves Almaren to see if the rumours are true. Telling the Maiar under his protection not to leave his woods, Eru knows his siblings don't need more servants, he heads straight for where Melkor was last seen.

Lord of the Rings/Hobbit/Silmarillion fanfiction Tauriel Thranduiliel had run away. She couldn't take it anymore; after the death of her mother when she was scarcely 100 years old, her father had become more and more protective of her and her brother, Legolas. It broke her heart, but finally, she slipped past the guards and into the dark forest. She couldn't have then imagined the chaos and destruction that came from that decision. Combination book- and movie-canon DISCLAIMER: My character Tauriel and the character from the Hobbit have no connection other than name (the latter doesn't exist in this story). Marquincia is one the Forgotten Ainur. She was forgotten after created by Ilûvatar but she wasn't finished. She didn't know she was one on the Vala until she was stranded and cast aside. She was nothing until she was compared to another Ainur named Melkor.
